this teacher is terrible. im about halfway through the semester with her and every paper i've written thus far has been detailed and shes picked it apart and basically nearly failed me on every one. her directions are very vague and she doesnt outline what she wants in papers she just says write them. avoid at all costs

This class was ridiculously tough. I never missed a class and read the books at least twice. It's important to take notes on everything she says. I somehow managed to get an A but only from A LOT of work. It's an interesting class but very hard.

The class itself was very interesting and I learned more in this class than any other course that I have taken. However, it does not matter how well you pay attention or how hard you work, its pretty much impossible to get a good grade. I never missed a class, payed attention, did all the reading and I got a C

I read these comments and thought, oh whatever it won't be that bad...I was wrong. Its bad. The class itself is an interesting subject and then comes the fact that shes failing everyone.She makes all assignments so she can tear them apart and give the bad grades she wants to. Never replies to emails, seems to want students to fail,doesnt care.

All the previous comments are totally true about her. Unbearable, incoherent, disorganized, and always angry about something. Contributes absolutely nothing to knowledge, students or Chico State. In these tough times, she should be one of the first to be fired!!

One of the worst teachers I've had. People aren't exaggerating - She is unorganized, strict, downright offensive (sometimes) and her grading is severely subjective with no real guidelines. I would avoid this teacher like the plague. The subject matter was interesting, but she ruined it. She should not be employed as a college professor. Period

Such a horrible professor! Extremely unhelpful and unorganized. She never answers emails and is dishonest. I would call her office to see if she was there, got no answer, and I would show up and she was sitting in the office on her cell phone and refused to help me out. BEWARE!!!!!

One of the worst profs I've had. Took "Genocide/Mass Persuasion" and was really eager about it, but she ruined it. We did not cover propaganda, she was wholly unclear as to what she wanted in the papers, did not answer emails, and seemed to think that if you didn't share her bleeding heart outlook you were wrong or didn't understand.

She is disorganized, but if there's a competent TA, can be fine. She knows her stuff, & is rather stuck with her own opinion, but gets her point across well. Is interesting, but can be unclear about her assignments, and if she grades them (instead of TA) don't expect them back. She shows up late, doesn't answer emails, but will answer questions.

She was one of the worst teachers I've ever had at Chico State. She is unorganized and disrespectful. She didn't allow for any opinions besides hers to be considered. She was extremely slow at handing back our papers. We wasted a lot of time in class on videos when we could have been learning about more genocides besides the three that we covered.

Where do I begin? She takes a interesting and controversial subject such as genocide and infuses her own prejudices and illogical notions. She neglects to give clear instruction, feedback, or hand back work at an appropriate pace. Very opinionated and if you don't share it, you are punished. Terrible teacher and should be avoided at all costs.

I was excited about taking this class before it started, for the record. She is very, very unorganized, does not know the material we study, gives very, very unclear assignment guidelines, almost no feedback on assignments, is quite ugly, and takes FOREVER to get to the point of her topics. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible. They don't get back to you when you e-mail them. They are completeley full of themselves on the topic, granted they know alot but tend to bicker at each other about who knows more on the subject. They should focus on their outside lives on teaching people about genocide and leave the classes to people who can devote their time students
