Dr. Karnes is only intimidated by those who don't understand her. She is a wonderful person that cares about the students that give her the respect and honor she deserves. She works hard to see that her students succeed, but will only meet them in the middle. Those that expect a free ride will not get it, but those that work hard will succeed.

Easiest course ever! The whole time I was at AU everyone said to take this course by itself b/c of the work load. The semester before I had taken 3 online classes to have BUS 490 by itself and never really understood what people were talking about. Dr. Carnes tells you exactly what to do and what not to do. My group made a 97 on our presentation.

I had heard all kinds of "horror stories" about this class. It isn't that scary at all. Dr. Karnes is great. She has a dry sense of humor which makes me laugh. She does like guys better than girls so deal w/ it. She doesn't have family problems like someone said; thats mean to assume. She drive a motorcycle so she's gotta be somewhat cool.

I heard all of the rumors about Dr. Karnes before her class. I would have to say I was really worried about taking her Senior Seminar beforehand. However, she has been really helpful and graded my material really fairly. I think that she demands a professional effort, and if you put an exceptional effort in she will be impressed.

This lady is unreal. She is so inconsistant and unfair. She favors men over women unless they kiss up. She is definately intimidated by women of intelligence and color. As long as you SEEM inferior to her she is your best friend, and is as happy as they come. STAY CLEAR INTELLIGENT FEMALES!!!
