He is SUPER boring I can't stay awake in that class.He can talk 20 min. for 1 little slide and he voice sounds like those documentary people on TV. DON'T TAKE HIM!

Many complained that he was boring, but the material in this class isn't exactly edge of your seat stuff. He covers topics thoroughly. He makes extra time for students and is kind in interactions. His tests were challenging, but not impossible by any means. I recommend Dr. Sassaman as a professor!

hated the class. taught half of the quarter. lectures are very unclear and he tends to jump from one subject to another very quickly and randomly. lecutres put you to sleep. course is difficult for non-science majors. most information taught seems very unnecessary for a lower-division course for non-science majors.

I don't like how he teaches. He does not write a lot on the board. He just talks for the whole 1hour and an half. Saltzman is a lot better, since he has online notes to bring to class to make the lecture easier to understand. Sassaman also does hard midte
