I have had him for several classes from ASL to Classifiers. I find that he is helpful and has amazing knowledge where it is needed. If you understand Deaf Culture, you will totally understand him. Also, he has a great sense of humor!

Doug is an energetic professor that brings Deaf Culture and history alive. I have also taken Doug Bahl's ASL classes and he is comprehensive in his lessons. If you want to improve your language skills Doug Bahl is a challenging, experienced teacher that care about his students.

Doug Bahl is awesome! People just don't like him because he actually makes them do a little work instead of letting everyone coast like the other ASL classes.

Failed about 15 of his students becuase we did bad on his impossible final. Because of that class we all got held back and have to wait another semester before we move onto second year.

After missing several days of school because of a family emergency, he was unwilling to help me catch up and told me that he was too busy to help me. He also suggested that I have one of my peers teach me what I missed.
