Got to be the worst chemistry teacher i have ever had. The lectures are not good at all and there are no examples. We never went over the unit homework once. There are 5 tests plus the final for the semester and nothing gets dropped. Study materials provided are scarce and the textbook isn't much use. This prof has made me want to change my major.

I loved Dr. Msimanga. He was a very nice professor that was always accessible during office hours. He explained every question in DETAIL and really made me understand the content. I took him over the summer and it wasn't that difficult. Make sure you know how to approach the different types of problems on his study guides. He gives Bonus points!!!

Msimanga is a unique teacher. He is a funny guy that really seems to care about his students, he had our class laughing quite a few times. However, he goes through material really fast and does not do almost any practice problems. And then on the test there are a bunch of problems he never worked through. Its a hard class, but it can be done.

He's not an awful teacher. Tests are harder than expected eveytime. 80% of the test is covered in class however all of it is worded differently. His slide shows are straight from the book and any study guides he gives you for the test especially the last few tests are either too easy or has nothing to do with the test. Acs final sucks. And is 15%.

this professor is hard to understand with the accent and all but the class is really not that difficult if you are good at math based scientific equations and know how to do dimensional analysis. Barely studied but went to the Friday sessions and did just fine.

He is really not a bad professor! I didn't buy the book and managed to get a c out if the class if I would have studied more and did sapling on time I could've made an A. The accent is strong but not that distracting. Tips to succeed: study, DO SAPLING and just go to class oh yea and DO SAPLING that's really what boosts your grade :) good luck

He was the worst chemistry instructor I have ever had. Words cannot accurately describe how useless lecture was and how helpless he makes his students feel. The sapling work needed several corrections and his "practice tests " were frustrating . Learn from my mistakes and pick a different instructor.

Dr. Msimanga is an extremely hard professor and it sometimes feels as if he assigns unnecessary work like the sapling. If you want to get a good grade you must put the time in and spend a lot of time in the chem lab

He has the heaviest accent! It was difficult to understand him and when i went up to ask for help, he said he was full time teacher and didn't have time to help anyone. I had to drop his class and get a W because i couldn't learn in his class. I had to teach myself everything and had to rely on Lab and Peer Led Sessions.

Ever heard of saplinglearning.com? It's the way this professor prefers us to complete and turn in homework. It's pretty terrible (I can't stand it at least). If you prefer to do problems from a book or on an assignment (like me!) you won't like this course very much.

He's not a bad guy, he's just really hard to understand in class and often confuses himself. Others have mentioned that he makes mistakes on problem sets in class and doesn't bother to correct them, which is true. I think this is a case of a professor who doesn't really want to be teaching a lower-level class, but is being forced to.

Dr. M is a hard professor. He will help you when you are trying and he recognizes you from class. Stand out and put forth an effort for this class and you have the potential to do really well. The tests are hard, but some of the questions he will repeat from the pervious test almost verbatim so you get better grades. Pay attention and go to class.

He is very rude!! I tried to be nice to him and ask him for help, and he just stared at me blankly. He is not approachable and you cannot understand him at all! Do not take!!!! There are way better chemistry professors at Kennesaw than him.

Dr. M. gets terrible rates on here and I find that to be highly unfair. He is an outstanding professor with a passion for chemistry and a desire to pass his vast wealth of knowledge on to students. He wants to see his students succeed, thus he pushes students to their full potential. His class is only difficult for the lazy minded.

I just finished 1211 with Dr. Msimanga and loved every minute of it. He has an accent that people complained about, but I had no problems understanding him. He knows his subject matter very well and cares about his students making good grades. Most people who didn't pass or didn't do well just simply didn't show up to class. Great professor!

This teacher's notes are incredibly hard to follow if you have no prior chemistry experience. Also, he has a very thick accent that is hard to understand in class. I took this course over the summer and he barely covered all the material. I learned most of it from my lab class instructor and lab partner. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.

I took this class over the summer thinking I was going to die because of all the horrible things people said about him, but I got an A. He is not a tough professor but the subject is hard. He is there to help you whenever you need it.

do not take Msimanga. I do not mind difficult professors if I learn the material, but this is different. His test have 3 answers within (.002) difference. Brown nose ur way to an A. Learn the way he thinks and do everything he tells you to do. go to his office every single day. Most straight A students get their first C here. Take Dockery,or bend
