Had her for spring semester! I know many comments say she's a difficult prof, but I think it really is because this course itself is very heavy. Advice: I would strongly ask and clarify with her all the assignment details if they are unclear! Other than that this course was very straightforward, just be willing to put in work in group work!! :)

I am sad to read below that many people have negative comments about Hafeeza. I think her CINT900 course is amazing, yes it is a lot of work but nothing in life is easy. Her assignments are clearly stated and if you ever have any doubts or questions she promptly replies.

This course is composed of an extensive amount of readings to compliment the extremely vague modules. Most of the grade comes from assignments that are poorly explained which make it hard to know what is expected. Weekly discussions are simply a repetition of the modules and not very engaging. You can copy and paste from the module and get praised

It would be possible to this professor a zero, she would deserve it. Readings are tedious, and weekly posts are reciting what was stated in the texts. Prof seems to think that her marking schemes are clear, but does not seem to follow them. Do not expect any compassion from prof for special situations either as she does not accommodate for anyone.

The discussion posts are SO MASSIVE every single week because she has about 3-4 threads every week and expects you to post in all of them as well as reply to lots of people in each one. She literally said she expects everyone to spend about 3 hours in the online shell every week plus readings like you would for an in-person class.

I did not like this instructor. Not knowledgeable about Health Promotion. The class is quite intense interms of reading and understanding. This should not be a distance course! Assignments are awful. Too demanding! She keeps posting how she wants people to interact in discussion but questions to asnwer are textbook regurg. I am not enjoying it

The amount of work in this course is ridiculous, this is meant to be an online course yet I find myself doing the most amount of work here rather than my actual mandatory courses. The assignments are extremely inconvenient and there's too many of them. The prof marks like we are PhD students and grades given are not reflective of the work given.

Two group projects for an online course is ridiculous. The convenience of taking an online class completely ruined by ridiculous assignments and readings. If I didn't need an elective credit before next semester I would have dropped this course in a heartbeat. Don't take her class if you can help it!

Terrible class I was very confused and very little communication. She did try to get in touch with me over the phone once but other than that she used the messaging tool which doesn't notify you when she responds. I don't know if it was just me but I understood nothing from the class and the readings were super long and crappy.

When I take an online class it's because I cannot take it in person, so why was there a group project? It was SO annoying trying to get a hold of the students. Anyways, the teacher would reply to my emails really late and it was such a hassle. And she never posted our marks for each assignment? Was a dry class honestly, reading and summarizing..

I took program planning online with Hafeeza and she's a very helpful professor. Take the initiative to get in touch with her and she'll get back to you in a timely manner. The assignments are very vague and lightly worded, so it can be a challenge to fulfill her requirements. That said, she isn't the hardest marker out there. Overall average prof.

She's not that rude or bad at teaching, I found. I don't know how her lectures would have been like because I took this course online. Not an easy marker! But she responded to my questions and emails fast and was helpful throughout the course.

This professor does not care about her students. Her assignments are very vague and I believe this is in order for her to justify giving low marks. I was really interested in taking this course but this professor makes it really boring and does not practice what she preaches.

This class is by far the most boring I've ever had. Every week we read 3-4 health promotion articles and had to summarize them. Her assignments are vague and unclear. Since it was an internet class, I would have expected the instructions to be clearer. Overall, she has sucked the fun out of such an interesting topic.

I took program planning and evaluation with her. It was a hybrid course. I don't know why everyone thinks she's rude or a tough marker. She was fine when she taught us. My best advice is ASK HER for her help. She is definitely willing to help you if you seek help from her. Send her email, meet with her, etc. You do this, you're fine.

Comment:

Many of the comments criticize the reading off slide. Unfortunately, this happens but it' not an issue. I found her informative and engaging. If you were treated rudely, maybe you bad attitude had something to do with it.
