Took this guy for 205 and 202 in the same semester. If you want to learn coding or ANYTHING then don't take him. If you just need to knock out these two classes to transfer then go right ahead and get an easy A. 90% of class is spent talking politics and the other 10% is lecture. Program assignments and 205 tests are taken from other professors

He clearly knows what he's teaching but doesn't always know the best way to teach it. He will never respond to your email or answer his phone no matter how urgent it is (very frustrating) and is the only reason I received a B... wouldn't respond to my emails and is never in his office.

This class was a joke, in a bad way. Teacher did not teach anything, then tests you on everything. Take home tests were OK I guess but he marks questions wrong that are clearly correct then never goes over them after. I implore you to avoid this guy.

He is an easy teacher. I still learn alot. i took it in summer for 6 weeks. it was an easy claa, and an easy A. JUST DO HW. However, he may be annoying at times especially when it comes to him talking about something outside of class. He talks a lot about his life. I still recommend him cuz he definitely knows his stuff.

Professor Shaban is a silly guy. His class is super easy but I did learn some from it. Honestly it wasn't really that hard of a class, it's one of those classes you just show up to, do a little work and get an EASY A! He seems like a sad dude, so just humor him people and go easy on him. If your planning to transfer to GMU... take CSI not CSC.

The guy is an easy teacher. Unfortunately, he is also unorganized and goes on random tangents about stuff outside of class. It can be annoying and distracting sometimes. However, if you ask him a question, he is very willing to help you. Despite his personality issues, he is an easy grader and teacher. Take him if want a good grade in the class.

As long as you show up to class and do his work. He will pass you. If you want to learn more computer stuff he isn't the right professor for that. All he taught us was how to do spreedsheets on excel and use access..and wordpad. The 2 textbooks he told us to buy..NEVER USED. The exams he gave us were 100 questions.

He is kind of annoying. He makes the students show what is on the computer. If you have some basic knowledge in microsoft then take his class. It will be easy for you. One good thing about him is that you get out early. I don't ever remember having a full class session with him.

Textbook a must for all the in class work. Two 100 question take home exams. Require time to do & tricky. Dr. Shaban was considerate & straight forward. Also accomdated a problem I had during the semester, which I gave notice in advance. If you cannot make it to class or be late, let him know in advance! Its a simple class just do not be lazy!

To be honest, professor Shaban makes class be so easy. The problem is that he gives two multiple choice exams that are take home exams. The exams material has NOTHING to do with what was taught in class. Plus, he is an unpredictable grader who favors some students. So before taking his class be aware.

Professor Shaban is pretty easy going. Somewhat unorganized if you asked me. He doesn't really like to help his students with the topics. He always complains about students not being quick enough at finishing the assigments. Can be very rude at times. NEVER answers emails. Pretty easy A though, but you will learn almost nothing.

This class was the easiest class I have ever taken. He is an ok teacher. But the one thing that bugs me big time is that he does NOT respond to emails. He seriously needs to work on his communication skills.
