One of the best teachers I've ever had. He can basically break down any question you have in a way you would understand it, and if you need extra help he'll be happy to help you during his office hours. He's a great teacher but you need to put in the work and do the homework to get a good grade in the class.

Dr. Shattuck was one of my favorite professors I've had so far at Uhart. Those of you who are taking Organic Chemistry with him, I warn you, TAKE HIS ADVICE. Do not miss homework, do NOT miss class, and attend the review sessions, you will need them. His tests are hard, but fair. His lectures are amazing & he is a very smart man. BILLS FAN!

What a great professor!!! Very funny and made organic chemistry very clear. Tests were hard, but if you did the homework, studied hard, and memorized the reactions, you should be fine. Try your best to get into his class.

Before I took this organic class I hated chemistry with everything I had within me. This man is responsible for making me not only tolerate chemistry, but actually really LIKE it. He is by far, the most amazing teacher I have ever had. He takes a complex subject and makes it unbelieveable clear.
