Her notes are extremely disorganized and almost impossible to follow. You have to go to class just so you can decipher her powerpoint. Overall, she a nice person and is very funny helping lecture go faster.

Comment:

Jane is a awesome teacher and a great clinical instructor. You can learn a lot from her. In 218 clinical ,if we had a test she would try and help us out and give us easy patients to work with. Jane information on the tests was easy to remember and it made sense but you had to be in class because she left blanks on her notes.

In a nutshell, this class is much harder than any other class thus far in the program. It doesn't help that Doorley is the most unorganized professor I have ever had in my college career. She is so all over the place that it makes the hard information even harder. Also, she is not very understanding when errors are made on her behalf.

Ethics was an interesting course, but if you are in the fall track prepare to be boggled down by studying for this class and the other 2 you must take. It was hard to study for her tests as you do not know what to expect and they happened to fall on the same day as your med-surg tests

Jane is a fabulous instructor! She is very dedicated and knowledgeable about nursing. She is one of the best nursing instructors at Wright State. The material is challenging but she makes it easy to understand and wants everyone to learn and be successful

Jane is wonderful! If you do what you are supposed to as an aspiring Nursing student, (such as attend class, read material, and take clinical seriously) you will do just fine. I had her for clinical and absolutely loved her! She is always ready to answer questions and also ALWAYS gives you positive feedback on all you do in the hospital! AWESOME!!!

I love Jane! She is a great teacher. She knows what she is talking about and has great insight. The class was fine, but the tests weren't all that great. Go to class and pay attention.

I honestly hated this class. Jane is very nice but the tests were very confusing. I was never sure if I was studying the right material & there were things on the exam that she never even mentioned.

She is a very nice person who seems to care for her students. BUT, she is not a very good professor in the true sence of the word. She tells you one thing and then evaluates you in a completely different way. Good as a person not as a teacher. If you can find an alternate DO IT! Sorry, just being honest. If you dont believe me then sign up for 321.

She's great & a very upbeat teacher. She always tried to make the lectures as interesting as possible by throwing in some funny stories. Her testing is hard b/c some of it is worded weird & you're not sure what it's asking. Once you get used to that style then it's gets better.

Jane is very straight forward if you screw up you'll be told about it bluntly. She is very knowledgeable and well connected if you get her as a clinical instructor you'll get way more opportunities to due cool stuff than anyone else. I do't know if she had any favorites. It appeared to me she treated you well if you learn and do the skills well.

Lecture is a waste of time. All she does is make jokes, her power points are filled with childish pictures. She should take them out and give us relevent information in them. She jumps all over the place and does not focus on what should be learned

This professor is so outstanding. She is nice, understanding, and caring. She is very serious when it comes to nursing bc it is a very demanding major and you can't mess around. Pay attention and study really hard for her classes.
