Comment:

I took professor Nelson's class. I recommend you avoid this professor at ALL COST because I honestly felt I hardly learned anything and I have taken hard classes and learned alot,butnot thisclass. She gives tons of homework, I would spent hours just doing her homework. There was 15 students who took the class and only three of us stayed and finish.

Comment:

You can just shut up sit through class and let her do all the talking. Initiates a lot of group discussions, which are supposed to be fun, but she tends to interrupt it a lot and finishes our sentences for us. She's a sweet woman, though, never gets mad. Can come off as standoffish but that's just her cover. Classes are deathly boring.

Bad at communication. I barely knew how I was doing in the class until the very last minute. She does not use BlackBoard to post the grades. Other than that, she does know her stuff. Not recommended to take her classes if you are not up to working hard.

Very knowledgeable in her field, top dollar teacher, but she comes across like a stone cold witch at times. Signs very English and voices. Gives A LOT of homework. Cute if you're into red hair and freckles.

Terrible! She's self centered and only cares about herself and her dog. Never learn anything in her class, its so boring and tedious. plus she talks about herself most of the time. If you're in a certain sorority, she'll make it clear that she hates you. if you say something wrong,she'll make you suffer for the rest of the semester.Not fit to teach

She is a good professor. She knows her stuff and does not tolerate laziness or ignorance. Class discussions were always fun in her class. I enjoyed her and she's a strict, but fair teacher.

She expects you to know your stuff. Has no patience for slackers. She's also not a teacher's teacher. Classes are student-oriented, and unstructured. Keep an open mind and do the work and you'll do well with her. She DOES have a sense of humor!
