She is a great teacher, she cares about your grade if you do. She is always willing to help you if you put in the effort. She makes sense in lectures. Best math teacher I've had at Tech. Highly recommend taking Dr. Temple.

Comment:

Probably the best math teacher at Texas Tech. She won't let a bombed test ruin your grade, so if you fail a test big time you can redeem yourself. If your worst test grade is at least 10 points below your other test grades she will drop the lowest test grade. She's also very helpful if you go to her office hours. Great professor!

Comment:

She is ridiculous when it comes to attendance! She will make it very clear how crazy paranoid she is the very first day. If you leave after you sign the attendance sheet she will make the rest of the class resign the sheet. It's a little over the top. She also goes at a fast pace, and isn't very clear of the concepts all the time.

Shes is a great teacher. By far the one of the best teachers I have EVER had. She is clear with the material and what she expects from you. She clearly states that she wont let one bad test lower your whole grade and averages accordingly. She loves her job and students. She doesn't make you memorize the material she has you learn and understand.

Great Teacher. If you have any chance at all to take her for any course, do it. She is a perfect example of how a teacher should be- cares about the students, teaches you life lessons, helps you understand the material, and has many office hours set aside for the students.

Great professor overall! She may give tough work at times, but she always explains it in a way for it to sound less complicated, and is always willing to help and answer questions if you ask. Even if she runs out of time during class to explain something, she will send it to you through email within hours after class. Strongly recommend for 1330!

Awesome teacher, very clear and detailed explanations, also very willing to help out students. She isn't too strict about attendance, but you if don't miss more than 3 days of class she gives you points on your overall grade. Superb teacher.

Such a wonderful professor who actually cares about your grade and well being! Though this class is tough, she's the best person to teach it. I've heard that all of the other professors for this course are rude and very hard to understand! Take her class, you won't regret it. She also tells us exactly what will be on the tests!

Very nice lady who teaches more than just the textbooks. She is very clear and prepared me very well for the department final. Class attendance is mandatory and I would recommend going because learning the material by yourself is a lot harder.

She is so nice and so helpful! I definitely reccommend her. She can go over the notes fast, but you just have to raise your hand and ask her to slow down. She also said that you will need the same book for 1331 so make sure to keep it!

Comment:

The best teacher at teaching this course. She is very thorough in her lectures and willing to help any struggling student. I myself have not met with her face to face but her lectures in class have been key to my success. She breaks up homework into multiple assignments so students actually grasp the material. She's #1. And yes you do have to attend class.
