Comment:

Mr. Groh is an easy going teacher, there are times when he rarely shows up and class is cancelled but other than that its more of a self-taught course and he encourages team work which is fine with me. The textbook was hardly used. Only complaint is when class is cancelled id prefer an email ahead of time. instead of showing up to an empty class.

He's not very clear a lot of the time. Recently, he told us to make a spreadsheet and when people needed help he refused to give it. After, when the printer he told us to use was out of paper, he said it wasn't his problem. I don't think he cares about his students, and it doesn't live up to the class description...

Knows the information, but good luck getting him to teach it. He is cancels class atleast once a week. And when you go to class it only last 20 minutes. If you don't mind paying an arm and a leg for a book and the class and then not go to class this is the teacher for you! Don't expect to learn anything.

Mr.Groh's class was very easy. He is a very happy but sometimes goofy person. Just do the hardly-assigned hw, and study for the tests and you will do good. Material is very basic, nothing to in depth. He lets you out early alot, our shortest class was 15 min. Final was 25 T/F and 25 Multiple Choice. Very nice and approchable teacher.

Nice guy, sweet. Tests are hard if you don't study for them. It's an easy class to slack in. Show up, read the chapters, do the occasional homework, study for tests, easy A.

Grohs class was soo very easy. If you need easy credits take him but if you really want to learn take someone else. Also be prepared to deal with him not coming to class prepared and blaming someone else. 2/5

Great guy! Funny but goofy! EASY A! just do your stuff! CS11 was a breeze, its basic stuff like "what is a keyboard?" i didnt even study and got an A. cool guy! if there isnt much to do in class, he just lets you out early. Our shortest class period was 14 minutes! Final was all True or False! Fun class, do your work and show up= Get an A

Great guy and teacher...if your looking for someone to lecture your head off and give you tons of work then hes not for you. He provides you with the guidance and resources to teach yourself through experiance. Overall great teacher!

I do agree he's not the best teacher, but I like his 'do-it-yourself' style. Lots of hands on not much lecture, which in my opinion you learn much more than freaking lecture that we all forget after the semester ends anyways. At least his way your experience will stick with you for a little longer.

nice guy. He teaches well. Tons of stuff that you can learn if you're in to computers. Pretty book based but he explains a lot too. easy class if you read the text book and do your homework. great teacher! I highly recommend this class.
