This semester I dont think there was a single class I could honestly say I felt welcomed or learned anything that I didnt know already. He was very rarely in the classroom and There was no attempt to engage any of the students or offer much feedback in class. I had some assignments he flat out did not give me credit for even though I was there!

Mr. Spear is incredible! You can tell when your instructor cares, and he definitely does! Wish he taught more classes! The EMP department professors are all amazing!

Mr. Spear's class will include an assignment every day, and through that you will learn a great deal! He gives very clear instructions and makes sure you know what is expected of you on each project. He's encouraging and strict at times, but it will only make better students. He is a caring teacher who makes sure you walk away with lots o knowledge

Great teacher will take as many of his classes as he has to offer . You will learn and if you do not do the work you will not get the grade that is how it works and that is how he works ! Great funny knows you as a individual not as a student !

Extremely helpful! All you have to do is ask, and he will help you with anything you are having trouble with. Just talk to him and you could be one of the cool kids too! I had little to no interest in this class and now have the program we run on both of my personal comuters. Just for the record I don't like world of warcraft.

Unhelpful. Was more concerned with talking to the handful of students that played World of Warcraft. Basically gives out 'A's, as I once handed in an assignment half-done just to see what would happen: I got an perfect score on it. He now 'teaches' a 'game programming' class, should call it 'level design' instead. Take it, if you need the 'A'.
