I took his SPAN 1 class online and I signed up quickly for his Spanish 2 online summer course. He was AMAZING. Super down to earth. Straight to the point. A lot of online work but nothing you can't handle. It is more time consuming than hard. The tests a straight forward. I missed out on a few discussions but I made an A. DON'T FORGET DISCUSSIONS!

I am sad I can't take him again for SPAN 1002. He is a great teacher. Discussions are short and weekly, and he answers emails very quickly. Most work is done on a separate site. It's about 7hrs of work a week of Spanish assignments and games to help you learn. It's actually very effective.

He is by far one of my favorite instructors. If you need help and email him a question, he replies back the same day. He is always ready to help, and grades very fast! I've enjoyed his teaching in both of his Spanish I and II classes.

Mr. Garcia is a great teacher, I took 1101 on Campus with a different teacher and now 1102 online with him..great quality!!! you gotta do the work.He grades fast and fair. 2 compositions. The rest online with access code. Read your text book.Final was very fair, no surprises all stuff you learned in the class. Highly recommend!!!!

Hard times ahead was the mantra of this class. Didn't like the attitude (condescending) of the teacher. maybe he was having some issues and the fact it was an online course as well. Sometimes things get lost in translation over the internet. Would not recommend. Could be great in class though. Who knows.

Comment:

One of the easiest onlin class ever. All you have to do is some assignments online, which you can see the answers to when your done and correct yourself so there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A. Also there are quizzes but he grades really easy and the discusssions in spanish are actually fun and it can be as long or short as you want it.
