Comment:

One of the best teachers I have taken! Her lectures are very interesting and she always tells the best stories. We didn't have hw but we did have video responses, two tests, a group project, and a research paper. She also gave us study guides! I do recommend getting the book to understand the material better. I would take her class again!

She has the best stories of her experiences in the psychology field. She has more first hand experience than any professor I have ever met. Great person, funny, extremely nice.

Loved her class. Not a lot of hw just video reposes to stuff you watch in class. Other than that it's two tests and a paper that will carry your grade. If you read and pay attention you'll do fine. You can tell she likes teaching and makes it relatable to you. She looks like she'd be tough but is actually a fun teacher.

Comment:

Krista Jackson is one of those teachers who looks like she wouldn't be good, but in fact is great! Her lectures can become boring, but she tries her best to connect stories from her life to material in the book. Two tests overall (Mid-term and Final), Research Paper (Get to Choose Topic), and HW is just video responses to 6 vids you watch in class.

Krista Jackson is a amazing professor due to the fact that she is so knowledgeable and explains things very clear. The one thing I didn't like is that we had two tests, midterm and final. We clumped over five chapters into a test which was way to much to remember. There is one 10 page research paper that is due at the end of the semester.

Some "facts" that come from her can be checked out as false, however, she makes her class very interesting. She uses a lot of personal stories to make the class material more relatable to the student. I was not looking forward to taking this class, but she made it a fun class. Unfortunately, she does not teach any other classes at Harper.

Excellent teacher. Learned so much in this class. She talks about her family a lot and tries to make it interesting. The personal touch in her teaching style is excellent. Might be one of the smartest people I have ever met. Not at all what I thought PSY 101 would be about. I would rate a 9 out of 10 for this class.

I totally liked this class...was sad to have it end....would choose her for more classes, very interesting, laid back, but you learn also... She is very excited, and quite a storyteller, have no fear with this one....

Shes AWESOME!!! by far my favorite teacher. she has a lot of energy and keeps class interesting. she usually relates the lessons to her personal life making it easy to understand. the only hard part is that some material on tests isnt talked about in class to make sure to skim highlighted words in the chapters to be on the safe side. great teacher!

Krista Jackson is awesome. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She likes to use her family in a lot of discussions. Her lectures are never boring, and the way that she explains everything is crystal clear. I will be looking for more of her classes.

she is a bad ass teacher. you won't be bored in her lectures. when i was in her fall semester she cancelled class a couple of times which was sweet. easy and barely any work to do. only work we actually had in the class was studying for the test, writing a research paper, and the speech which you can do in any class she teaches at any time.

Krista talked a lot a lot...A LOTTT about her family hahaah which was actually interesting. Anything she talks about is interesting...shes just a good speaker i guess! And thats what makes her a good teacher for a lecture class!! If you're taking PSY101 study for tests, and get started on your papers early and you'll get an A!

She is probably the most brilliant person I have ever met. She is an incredible teacher and she has taught me so much more than what is in the textbook. I am forever in her debt. If you want a truly one of a kind learning experience, she is the teacher to go to.
