Dr. Wamwara does not answer questions and expects you to know what to do without asking. Project requirements were vague and not covered in class. Marketing project was difficult and instructions on how to do one were not covered in class. Exams were moderately difficult. Must attend all classes.

An OK professor. She gives good lectures but there's no need to go because the ez tests are straight off of her powerpoints and definitions in the book however she requires you to be there. There's only a 2 tests over lots of material She's very tough on students when they give their presentations and will call you out if you leave class early.

Exams come right from the slides. They are not hard, there is just a lot of material to memorize (up to 7 chapters per exam). So start on exams ahead of time because there is a lot to cover and memorize from the slides (study guides don't help at all). Does not assign any other work. Lectures are pointless, however attendance is a grade.

Dr. Wamwara knows a lot about marketing and uses helpful examples in class. 3 MC exams, one paper, & an attendance grade. Her study guides are broad. The paper was 4-5 pgs SINGLE spaced, but her syllabus didn't specify & she was unhelpful & a little rude when asked to clarify. Read in the book whats on the study guide and you will pass.

She is very cold, almost tries to make you sweat during a presentation. Her lectures aren't useful when it comes to the test, which there are only 2 of. She is very bad at communicating, won't email back or will tell you it's not her problem. I recommend you don't take her, go to another teacher who cares. This is my 3rd class with her.

Don't need to go to class but she does take 15% of the total grade in attendance so probably go anyway. I never payed attention got high 90's in all my class just from studying bold terms in the chapters on the test.

Took this 3-hour night class in summer for 5 weeks. Very fast paced but course load still manageable. She made the class very interesting and funny. I loved the fact that she used her real life stories (and she has a lot!) to explain concepts in class, which was very helpful. It is refreshing to see a professor who actually loves what she teaches.

Lectures are primarily from the book, and Ms. Mbougua adds a bit to it from her experience in mkt research. If you read the book, you're on the road to at least a B. The Summer course is very light on extra work: a 5-pg journal on 3 purchase decisions.

Teaches from the PowerPoints which are available online. Attendance is mandatory and worth 5% of your final grade. Sends out study guides for both exams and they cover the test well. One 2 part group presentation is required and is an easy A. Book isn't necessary but very helpful for definitions which make up a lot of the exams.

She's a great teacher who makes MKT interesting. Anyone who thinks it is okay not to go to class is really missing out. Sure, you might get an A just by reading the book, but if you want to really understand, go to class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it is extra credit if you need it in the end.

Easy, go for it! I took this class as a PSY student wanting a minor in MKT. She is a very knowledgeable professor, and after her class, my interest in the subject skyrocketed. Slides are posted online and are straight from the book, but I would still suggest going. Papers are easy and the videos and images aided a lot. Loved this class. Take it!

Lectures directly from the powerpoints and adds in tons of examples from the internet. Takes attendance every time and it counts as part of your grade. Tests are tough (midterm and final) cover 8 chapters with very specific questions. One group presentation that is easy to get an A on.

heres the deal: 3 exams (1 during finals week, not comprehensive), 2 papers (which are pretty easy, and she only takes points off if your paper does not have great grammar, so its hard not to ace them. the exams are all multiple choice. Shes really nice and has a great personality, she just goes over slides, but its an easy and good class

Tested over items that would be taught to a graduate level marketing class. Then when EVERYONE did terrible she said we should try harder. Not helpful! Also, she took attendance before and after class like we were 2nd graders.

This class took a little bit to get used to. She lectures from powerpoints but the test come straight from the book. You should read the chapters rather than pay attention to her lectures. Attendance is weighted in the grade so you should go to class. Class is boring but the teacher is a very nice lady.

Over all good experience classes relyed on ppt that is not distributed to the class. Two Exams Two Group projects over all easy and very interesting. I recommend the class with her. The text is actually great to probably the best I've had at WSU. The only thing is the legnth of the class and the ppt. Just keep up on the reading to succeed.

Read the chptr the nite b 4,@ least skim. Highlight in the book what the powerpoints say to save time, get the international books-cheaper. Study the definitions and the highlighted material and it's an easy A. Group project is EASY IF you can get ur groupmates to meet w/ u. I only studied the definitions the night b 4 and got a B on the 1st exam.

She is really easy. I didn't buy the book and passed the tests with flying colors by going over the powerpoints that she posts on WebCT. They are mostly vocabulary. Her 2 writing assignments were extremely easy. Once a week class didn't get out early most of the time, but because it is so easy; totally worth it.

Horrible professor?just (poorly) reads from the powerpoints every class so many people stopped going. Exams are straight out of the book and lectures provide no additional insight. A robot could teach better and seem more interesting.
