Hetrick's class was a little boring but he turned it around by making jokes and giving excellent examples for research. He showed the class what most professors are looking for when writing essays and where to go for reliable resources. Overall, I would take Hetrick's class in a heart beat!

Cool teacher. I recommend you take his class. He knows his stuff and shows passion for what he does. All his test are short answers, which he gives a study guide for. This class is an easy A if you put forth just a little effort.

Mr. Hetrick class is very interest. We had to do three cultural event reports. His exams were short answers. We always got out of class early because he was always sick. He is a fair grader. It is a easy a or b class. I recommend people to take him.

took him for summer four week session, class turned out to be a three week class. we were supposed to have three test and one paper, had two test.. one take home.. and one paper. lectures are often off subject. but if you read the assignments and listen to his overview of the story the next day it will be helpful. takes up "journal entries" daily.

He lectures a lot and doesn't write much down which made things difficult, and his tests are all short-answer. This sounds bad, however I thought I was going to fail his class and I made a C. He must be quite a lenient grader, and he is also a very nice guy. He's always willing to clear up doubts. Maybe I just didn't understand the class overall.

Took his 7am class. VERY easy class. Read short stories for homework & take a short quiz the next day. Attendance affects your grade. The final was an in-class essay. I enjoyed the stories and his lectures. We watched youtube for 1/2 an hour one day. He is very sweet & nice, has a strange sense of humor, but he's still funny. Very liberal, too. :)

He is a very nice guy, didnt really do much in class but like a couple of essays which he was very lenient, not a hard grader at all, its an easy class. He talks all trough it but if you have a question he will happily help. Like I said, really easy and laid back! Gives no Homework, only to read some stories.

I am not sure why people say this guy is funny. This was the most boring class I have ever taken. At 8 am, you would think he would try to maintain your interest but no. Some of the things he said were humurous but nothing hilarious like other people have described. It was all I could do to keep my eyes open and stay focused.
