I love Prof. Stelter & his class! I never wanted to skip his class, because that's how much i enjoyed his lectures. He was a former police officer & prosecutor & lectures from what he knows. He is smart and knows mostly everything about the cj system. I'm sad that this was his last semester at LSC. I wish i would have taken more of his classes.

Professor Stelter wasis one of the best instructors I have had in my two years at Lonestar. Overall just a hilarious great guy who genuinely cares about his students and their success. I would recommend him to anyone, but unfortunately, he is leaving after this semester, which truly is a great shame. Great professor, even better person!

This is by far the BEST teacher I've ever had! I've learned more from this teacher than I have in all of my college classes I've taken put together. He makes his lectures interesting and makes you want to come to class. I had little to no homework and just took notes in class and studied them for the test and I made an A. I highly recommend him!!

Incredible professor! I have higher expectations for teachers now because of him. Also wanted to change my major because he made CJ fascinating, and it'd be nice to take more classes taught by him.. Extremely genuine dude. Tests are easy if you pay attention in class. He has a lot of experience and knowledge on the subject. Freakin' bad ass.

Very good professor. He was a HPD officer and a prosecutor, so a lot of his lectures are vivid flashback stories. They're interesting, but half of the time they don't have much to do with the actual curriculum. And a side note: He is in charge of the Christian club, and does incorporate God into almost every single lecture. Non-Christians beware.

Mr. Stelter is an amazing teacher. There is no way you could ever be bored in this class with all of the stories he tells about his past jobs. I would take this class over and over if I could!

Professor Stelter is the best of the best, his classes are the perfect balance between interesting lectures and class participation. As long as you show up, participate, and utilize his study guides for the tests, you should pass with an A. In addition, he was a former HPD police officer and prosecutor.

I had Mr. Stelter last semester, it was the most amazing class so far. He showed up every class prepared, organized, and with a lot of stories examples to tell. I cant wait to have him again in other classes, maybe last just to end my college with a pure gratification.

If you are a CJ major, or are simply looking for an elective (or two) to take, take one of Stelter's courses. For the past 3 semesters I've had him as a professor and not once have I been disappointed. He knows the material because he's lived it all and he understands students! Had him for CRIJ 1301, 1310, and 2328 (And loved each class!)

Professor Mark Stelter is without a doubt the best teacher I have ever had. He keeps class interesting by mixing in plenty of his stories from when he was a cop. He has a lot of experience in the field as he was both a police officer and a prosecutor. He doesn't take attendance, but I never found myself wanting to skip his class.
