this woman is ridiculous. Shes a completele air head that i feel has no clue what shes doing, SHE SHOULD NOT BE TEACHING!She makes you feel stupid when you ask questions, most likely because she cant do them herself. The only examples she gives are straight out of the book where you could look it up on your own. Shes terrible.

she goes way to fast, and advises students to find a tutor for their math problems. She doesnt like to teach and only about half of her students pass her course. I had 13 students in my class that failed last semister. she doesnt give students anything less than a 50, this is only for her advantage, so that she doesnt look like a complete failure.

Great teacher!!! She is fast paced, but this is college. Do you really need someone holding your hand? If you really need THAT much help go to a tutor!! Grow up and be responsible for your self!!!!! She is very helpful and caring.

She knows what she's doing, but she goes way too fast. Doesn't give much help to those of us who are not mathmatically inclinded. She gives hard tests, doesn't really explain things clearly, and if asked a question she just ends up confusing you more by the way she answers it.

Her teaching style is not the greatest. She's always rushing through things, doesn't give time for questions, and if someone does ask a question, the way she explains the answer is not always clear. She makes math more confusing that it should be.

Great teacher. She goes over ALL the material. Many people do not care for her because she is all about the class, not about personal issues. She does not tolerate slackers, but if you are serious about your education, you will do fine. She will work with you if you give her the chance. Highly recommended for adults in college, not party-goers.

I had Whitcomb for remedial math classes and she was excellent. All of a sudden, when I took her for college algebra, she didn't explain things as much, moved too fast and wasn't thurough. I have mixed thoughts about her

HORRIBLE TEACHER! I hated her and her class, she shouldn't be a teacher. She thinks everyone should be as smart as her, WELL WE AREN'T that's what we are there for! Never take her, she is the worst teacher, I would never reccomend her!

I think she is a wonderful teacher. Yes she is fast paced, but this is college level not highschool. She got me totally prepared for College Algebra and I am getting an A in it. She is dedicated to her students, but will not put up with slackers. Take her if you are majoring in math, she will help.

Teaches way too fast. She doesn't seem to have patience for students who weren't born math wizards. She was rude to me on several occasions when I asked for help. She was just waiting for me to drop the class, I didn't, but I failed anyway. At least I tried.

I thought Ms. Whitcomb was a faced paced instructor. She does an excellant review before test but you need to stay on top of things or else your fall behind. She covers all the material quickly but I can say I learned a lot.

If you're good at math,then this is the teacher for you.If you have trouble in math i suggest taking someone else.Shes a good teacher,but is fastpaced.If you have problems with homework shes there to help and she reviews for the tests very well.I enjoyed the class + thought she taught it very well.

Mrs. Whitcomb is a good teacher. She reviews the tests thouroughly and takes the time to go over every single homework problem that you have a question on. She's really tough but fair.
