He knows physics is hard and tries to help everyone's grade. Webassign assignments answers are all on chegg. His exams are basically his practice exams with a few additional questions. Curves massively with grades. Each recitation you go to is a point on your final grade. He's lectures on concepts but not on practice problems.

He's not bad. The first semester wasn't that hard since it covered stuff I remember from high school physics. Second was much harder since it started to cover material I never learned before. He curves the tests though, thankfully. My biggest criticism is he was always a week behind the lab sessions.

I liked professor Sahiner. He gives real world examples of problems and although he teaches with a power point does a good job making the class interactive. Even with 50 students. Only reason people seem to not like him is because its a physics class and they don't look at problems or practice. allows formula sheets.

Dr. Sahiner is a great man. He is head of my physics program since I am a physics major. He is patient, well spoken, and respectful to questions. He really knows his physics. His tests are no harder than any physics tests should be. What determines how well you do is your personal work you put in because he shows you exactly what will be on it.

Sahiner is a smart guy, but can't teach. He will often try to explain physics like everyone in the room has a doctorates and fully understands the subject. Also his tests are outrageous, so expect a heavy curve. Worse yet, he may force you to learn entire chapters for the final. My final was 20% material he never covered in class. Worst prof I had!

Really smart guy and knows a lot about his field. However, not the best at explaining it. His tests are very hard and he gives difficult homework assignments. If youre a physics major he's going to be your professor theres no getting around it. it all depends on how much work youre willing to put in.

Lecture class, kind of boring. But he assigns homework off of mastering astronomy, easy to get A's on all homework assignments, he drops the lowest. And the test questions sometimes come from mastering astronomy. Okay professor, just have to study!

The class is not an easy A, because the tests are often confusing, but everyone does poorly for the most part so he curves majorly. i ended up with a B+, did horrible on the first test, did alright on the second, and did the homework and extra credit. wasn't the best, wasn't the worst.

this guy obviously doesnt care about lower level classes. i did terrible on his first two tests but did the homeworks and extra credit, and i guess i did alright on the final, but he must use a huge curve so i wound up with a B+.

class is boring, but extremely easy. only a few homework assignments, gives extra credit and curves the tests at the end of the semester. Also, he posts his notes online so you really dont need to pay attention Bring laptops to class, and collect the easy A

He's a good teacher. he goes off on a tangent with a ton of really complicated and specific stuff, but the tests are mad easy. General concepts, pretty easy grading, just pay attention to the questions on the tests, the wording can be tricky, but they're not hard at all

professor sahiner is a very approachable and helpful professor. he is very knowledgeable. it is hard to teach lower level courses to students who don't care much about the topics because they may not be physics majors. however, he does an excellent job at teaching this course. easy grader. easy course. take him
