This class is actually really hard to stay awake in sometimes, he's got one of those monotone voices and goes on and on and on BUT overall he is extremely knowledgeable and very accepting to those who are consistently and annoyingly late.

Dr. Orr knows his****!!!! He's been doing this for the last 20 years. For some weird reason he 's loves saying certain composers were: raging homosexual." Trust me, if you study in groups, you can get an "A" in the course. I know, that's what I did.

I've had Dr. Orr for 3 classes - Music History and Intro to Grad Studies. No, he's not "easy" but wants to make sure you learn. Very knowledgeable and kind of funny.

The hardest class I've ever taken. Be prepared to STUDY just as much if not more than the hardest class!! U must memorize 20 songs per test, which all sound the same. Use study guide and syllabus thoroughly and ask many questions.This class is no joke!!!!
