No homework so the tests are the only grades in the grade book. The textbook is only needed to study and extra credit is given at the end of every class so I suggest you go. He's a great professor, just a little hard to understand at times.

Go to class! He gives extra credit every class and its around 3-5 questions. He goes over it at the end of class so youll have the right answers. Those points carry over to your exam so it helps you in the end. Print out the notes and just fill them in each class. He tells you what will be on the exam and whats important. Very easy class!

This professor gives extra credit assignments every day of class. While attendance is not mandatory, without showing up you will miss out on extra credit opportunities. His tests are very fair and he emphasizes on lectures what will be expected to show up on the test. Overall I think he is very fair and genuinely wants everyone to pass his classes.

He sometimes does his lectures at a fast pace, but he delivers the material really well so you can understand it. You definitely have to pay attention and take good notes but that's with every college class you'll take. He gives you practice worksheets at the end of every class and whatever you get right, it goes for extra credit on your exams.

I took professor Bin last semester & at the time I thought he was hard bc I was just getting on my feet with how to do college. Now I am currently taking macroecon & as I look back at his class I am thankful I took him bc he teaches & explains really well. You definitely have to pay attention & go to class but he gives extra credit every class

Dr. Bin is a good teacher. There are four tests, and an optional Final. Each class you go to you get extra credit towards your test. GO TO CLASS!!! The extra credit helped tremendously. I didn't do the best on the first test, but I studied all my notes and read the chapters and ended up making A's on the rest of the tests.

Wouldnt recommend. Speaks very broken English and often switches back to his first language when he cant find the word. Also doesnt get test grades back to you until the next test. As long as you go to class and get the notes down youll be straight tho.

Graded on four exams, with an optional cumulative final to replace your lowest score. Attendance isn't mandatory, however he gives extra credit every class. Textbook isn't necessary, if you show up to the lectures he covers everything that will be on the exam. Overall pretty easy as long as you show up to class.

Grade is based on four 250-point tests & final is optional. Each class we do an assignment that is for extra credit if you don't do it you won't get any, but there are alternative assignment if you have to miss class. Easy to contact too. I got an A in the class but it took a lot of work. He was very helpful and straight-forward! Would take again

Professor Bin is a really nice guy who is passionate about the economy. His lectures follow the book so I would recommend buying it because there are a lot of examples. He does a really good job at explaining the concepts in his lectures but his accent can make him a little hard to understand. Show up because he gives extra credit each class!

I really enjoyed this class and it is good for people who don't really understand economics because it breaks it down very well. Slight accent but nothing that you can't understand. There is no homework and attendance isn't mandatory but each time you show up he gives extra credit so you may want to show up. Studying is necessary but you'll pass!

Great professor. Has an accent but if you read before you go to class it clears up most confusion. Very helpful if you have questions. GO OVER YOUR EXAMS W HIM during office hours because the TAs mix up grades in BB sometimes. 4 exams with an optional comprehensive final to replace your lowest grade. Extra credit for each exam at the end of class.

Economics is a difficult concept in general. However, Professor Bin is there for all of his students. I struggled, but I also know that many other students struggled too. Be prepared to study! No homework, no classwork, and no quizzes. Just 5 exams with the optional final. He gives EXTRA CREDIT - this can make or break your grade!

If you actually pay attention and go to class, you should pass. He gives extra credit everyday you come to class by doing a worksheet about what was learned in the class that day. Easy A if you have a little effort. Slight accent, it is not bad at all. Overall, I loved this class and Prof. def recommend.

Honestly, Economics is not my favorite course. This class was easy. Go to class, fill out the notes, and actually study. Everyone complained about what they got on the tests but he tells you EXACTLY what is gonna be on it. I had more than 100% in the class because he adds EC to the test grade

Solid professor. Each test is 40 multiple choice questions with a possible amount of around 5 total points of extra credit. 4 exams, optional final. He teaches well but has a SLIGHT accent, not bad at all. I would strongly recommend him for microeconomics.
