Worst teacher I have ever had and I don't mean just in college. He rambles all class too fast to even understand. Gets off subject very often. Doesn't post homework online until its almost due. Avoid at all costs.

Wow. This man needs to stop teaching. If you can even call it that. He sits there and talks to you not teaches. Worse professor I have ever had. He does not know what you are asking if you ask a question and very annoying. Didn't learn a single thing i n that class and I am retaking it next semester. Be prepared to hate life for the next 15 weeks

I have learned nothing in this class! Hanley has no business teaching! He rarely does examples in class, and if you question him he jumps down your throat. If you takes this class be prepared to teach yourself the material. I am going to suffer next semester.

Not only is he rude and uncaring, he expects you to do homework before you've even gone over it online and is extremely difficult. You have a quiz every two classes on material you haven't learned. I'm going to suffer next semester in ACCT 202. Avoid this man at all possible costs. You won't learn anything and your education in ACCT will suffer.

I thought the other students who rated him were just being a little hard on the guy, I WAS WRONG. He is the worst professor I have ever encountered. He reads off powerpoint slides and does not teach any of the actual practical work he expects you to know for the exams. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

AVOID?until Mr. Hanley changes. Does not struggle to empathize with students. Focuses on grading vs. instructing. However, if you enroll in ACCT Lab 203, you could actually learn accounting through your Lab instructor/experience and--coupled with reading the ACCT 201 book--thereby possibly earn a good grade in Mr. Hanley?s class.

Told our class the reason he teaches now is because he retired as an accountant and got bored after retiring. His writing is close to a newborn baby trying to write for the first time. Powerpoints don't help whatsoever. Majority of my class is failing...need I say more?

his writing looks like chicken scratches, says "really" a lot, sounds like he's on speed b/c he's going about 100 mph all the time, looks at the ceiling when he's talking. The guy knows his stuff when it comes to accounting but he's an idiot when it comes to teaching

He definately wasn't the best teacher but I didn't find him that bad. He grades very easy on tests. He attempts to write on the board but it is the worst chicken scratch you could imagine.

It was his first time teaching this class in awhile, so I think he was learning the material as we were. That made things a bit hard, but if you basically memorize the homework problems you'll do fine on the exams. The material is not easy to learn quickly, but he knows it and is can be geneorus when grading.

Easily the worst professor I've ever had. This man has no place teaching a college level class. We have other professors that teach Accounting, choose a different one if at all possible.
