He talks the entire class period , his lectures are good. but he's a very tough grader so make sure before turning in an assignment look over it WELL because he will find any little thing to make you lose points.

one of the best teachers I have ever had. He def knows what he is talking about!! easy class, do the review sheets memorize them, show up and take notes, NO PHONES, and do the 2 assignments and youll be fine. SUPER easy and good class learned a lot

He is definitely different in every class he teaches. I had him for Business Theory and Marketing. He gives you a study guide to follow and you pretty much have to memorize it. In business theory he was easier but Marketing was very hard, it was a lot of information to memorize. You definitely have to work for an A.

he gives review sheets before every class, if you memorize it youll be fine, last two tests have been open notes, 5 tests and 2 very easy journal assignments, class can be boring especially if its an 1 hour and a half...

He is funny and very nice. I found his lectures to be very interesting and not boring. Also, tests are easy. They are matching and multiple choice with questions that are basically just definitions. Assigns very little homework. I think I had one short paper and that was it. I would take him again if needed.

He's a nice professor, however when it comes to assignments he is very strict. He never lets you fix your mistakes and he gives zeros out like no other. If you send your essay to him in the wrong format-ZERO. I tried to ask him for help and he gave me an attitude.

Contrary to the comment left in January, Dr. Hoffman HAS indeed left American soil on many occasions. He is my favorite professor at this college. He'll get hit by a bus in order to help you out. His knowledge of the subject matter is extraoridinary, and he can make class very interesting, but he CAN get boring. I take every class possible for him.

In his International Business course I noticed how attentive all the American kids were to his lectures, However as an international student it was very clear to me that this guy had never once left American soil. How is it possible they let him teach this important subject?

Good teacher, entertaining, good use of multimedia in class. Be prepared for LOTS of powerpoint slides and videos. Attendance at class is important because of numerous in-class activities contributing to final grade.
