Comment:

Worst teacher I have ever had at OSU. I would not recommend her to anyone. She doesn't listen to the students at all, and the tests are ridiculous. She expects a lot from you as students, and doesn't do a good job at teaching you the material. Avoid this teacher at all costs.

Comment:

She doesn't teach the entire lecture and still requires students to understand her abbreviated power points. She requires a text that she admits is too advanced for this class, yet insists we know all of the text for the tests. Doesn't seem to proofread her exams prior to giving them to class. Contradicts herself on the ppt slides. Tricky test Q's.

She has a lot to offer assuming you have the patience to sort through a bit of 'fluff' and hear the substance. I understand the perspectives offered here but I don't think me feeling offended is a good reason to discredit the wealth of information she has to offer. She's bright, funny and if you go to her 1 on 1 she'll treat you well.

this prof. is a joke. we bought an expensive text and never use it, and she LOVES to hear herself talk,talk,talk. the worst part, she treats us like children and is a control freak. And one other thing, speads through powerpoints and refuses to post them on blackboard

I did not gain a whole lot from this class. She expects you to study and know everything. It is helpful if you have taken microbiology or already know your stuff... most important characteristics of diseases... important discoveries made in history. Jenner, Pasteur, Lister, Flemming. What is the big secret anyway? Know everything... maybe someday

She's pretty unorganized and a lot of her test questions don't really make sense, but if you go to class and pay attention, it's really easy to do well. I didn't even have to take the final because I had 101% in the class. I thought the class was pretty interesting, but sometimes she gets really paranoid about preventing disease.

Very Bad class especially if you are a science major, it is so frustrating to have to listen to the dumbed down version but then to have to listen to a proff. that has absolutely no idea what she is talking about for an hour and 20 min is unbearable. Don't take this class if you can help it, i recommend Dr. Linda Bruslind in the microbiology dept.

Horrible teacher... Her notes are unorganized and uninteresting. Her exams are are also horrible. Too many "all the above" questions. She does offer a bunch of bonus points which was nice though

This class is horrible. Every day I go she makes up some fact that isn't even close to true. I think she is so full of herself that she doesn't even bother to check her facts before she says them. Her notes are also the most disorganized I have ever seen of any of my teachers.

Dr. Donatelle has been the best teacher I've ever had. Not only have I learned a lot about health from her, I've learned a lot about life as well. I encourage anyone that is interested in health related topics to take a class from her.
