Pretty average. Did not post grades the entire semester, I went into the final having no idea what I had. He gives study guides before exams. There's nothing particularly wrong, but he's not great. The class just overall is challenging and the class is very lecture heavy. Take good notes or you won't pass.

Bob is awesome. He always makes class interesting and makes it a point to learn everyone's name and call them by it. He is a fair and easy grader and gives lots of opportunities for extra credit that don't really require any additional work. He wants students to do well and will help you out. Take his class if you get a chance, he's a great prof!

Bob is your typical sarcastic professor, but I mean that in a good way. He is nice and funny and well respected by students. Class consisted of daily readings and discussions. We had two short essays and one test (he gives you all questions beforehand) and an optional final. Only complaint is that he takes literally forever to return work. Easy A!

DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK!! Pretty straight forward for the most part. He teaches in a simple way that is easy for non-math heads like me to understand. Unlike most science/math teachers he doesn't assume that students are experts in the subject.

Hard to understand the way he speaks but you get used to it after a while. Notes are kinda confusing because the concepts taught are confusing. His teaching style is hard to follow sometimes and you definitely have to study to pass, luckily he gives you a study guide and a review class before tests!

Bob is a awesome professor. I would suggest to take his class! He is down to earth and totally understanding. His class made 8:30's a good thing. Easy grader, just go to class and turn your work in on time. Lets you rewrite papers!

Bob is awesome! He's very relaxed and will help you with anything you need. He's pretty lenient with grading, just make note of the discussions you have in class and use those techniques in your papers and you'll get an A. Plus, you can rewrite all essays for an average of the two grades, so it's pretty easy to do well

Bob was a great teacher! I am even sorry that I don't need to take anymore English because I really enjoyed him as a teacher. We do 4 major essays, but it is nothing too hard and he is quite helpful and lenient. The classes are laid back, interesting, and enjoyable. We just had class and group discussions. I recommend him if you don't mind writing

Bob is one of the best English teachers I've had. Minimal reading from textbooks. Class is mostly free and interesting discussion. He is laid back and extremely open-minded. Only have to write a few easy papers. I hate English but he made it very interesting and bearable for me. Easy A if you do the papers. He is a fair grader.

He's lenient if you're honest and give your best. Class was relatively interesting. Most of the time was spent in discussion or exchanging and reviewing rough drafts. Cancels class from time to time. Really good to scatterbrained students like me, he let it slide when I turned in my final paper without the portfolio of previous assignments.

Bob was by far one of the best professors I've had. super down to earth. Class did get boring at times and i think 298 should be a lit credit, but he did his best to make it interesting. He baiscally told us what the tests were when we went over material and the test werent all that hard. Definitely take him. oh and he's very witty!
