Stonebaker is a tough grader, if you do not give him a specific answer or word he will not give you full credit for a answer. ALL of his test are SHORT Answer, some people are good at short answer test but for those like me who are not, do not take him. Stonebaker likes to say smart remarks beware, but he is retiring in December 2017.

Dr. Stonebraker is AWESOME! Makes economics easy to understand and enjoyable to study. Makes his own "book" so you can save money. All tests are paragraph answers, but if you understand the material there are no surprises. There is even a chance to make a few bucks in class. Great class and professor, I wish all Americans would take this course!

He is easily approachable & cares about your grade as long as you make the effort to ask. His classes are lecture based but he makes them interesting and tries to get the class involved. Use the study guides that he gives out and the worksheets, a lot of test questions come straight from them. If you don't understand something make an appointment.

Lectures were long and information HEAVY is an understatement. I did all of the practice tests and still received a horrible grade on each one. I visited during his office hours and talked to him after class but that didn't change anything. I wouldn't suggest taking his class.

Dr. Stonebraker is wonderful and this class is very easy. He doesn't use a book and his lectures are interesting. He puts practice tests online and they are nearly identical to the tests he gives so if you just take the time to do them, you will pass no problem.

Really great professor. Enthusiastic about subject, often makes lectures fun. Not hard to pass if you pay attention in class. If you have trouble hearing you need to sit in the first few rows, but otherwise he's great. I'm gonna try to have him for all my future econ courses.

Dr. Stonebraker knows a lot about economics! I've learned so much being in his class! There isn't too much work in his class; a constitution assignment, three tests including the final, and two one page reflection papers. Do his readings that he provides on his website. He takes questions from there! Overall, easy class.

He's a really nice guy. He's passionate about economics which keeps the class engaged. But if you aren't already good in economics this is a pretty tough class. The tests are all short answer and there is a lot of information on them that you have to remember.

He's a really nice guy. I haven't seen him yell or be rude to any student. He's passionate about economics which keeps the class engaged. But, with that being said, if you aren't already good in economics this is a pretty tough class. The tests are all short answer. Not recommended if you aren't good at econ.

The class is not easy, but he makes his own lecture notes and reviews which directly correspond with what he says in class and puts on the test. He's super helpful and wants you to succeed and actually learn the course material. DO THE REVIEW QUESTIONS! They are on the test and he doesn't go over all of them in class.

Please stay away from Stonebraker! His grading scale seems pretty easy, but once you see how he grades, then you will understand that he's a pretty bad professor. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GPA
