She is a woman who is in the sciences, but that is not what defines her. She is an absolutely fantastic instructor who enables for students who may not even have a science background to excel in the course. She is clear, concise, and utilizes media well. Honestly an inspiration of an academic individual and a great prof. Also nice hair.

Online assignments are so easy they're basically a joke. If you have 15 free minutes a week you'll get 100 on all of them. She gives quizzes at the end of every class so its best to show up but a lot of people don't and still pass with ease.

Svets is out to help students do well. She's incredibly smart and respectable, and determined to make this course accessible to all students. From bonuses to common-sensical quizes to assignments that are identical to the textbook, you have to want to not do well to not do well. This woman inspired my love of Physics.

She treats this upper year physics course like a high school class and claims that some typical QM topics for an introductory class are well beyond the scope of the course. Not sufficient if you're planning to do grad school. It's an easy A if you want a GPA boost-no final exam, and she will give bonus points. Read the textbook if you want to learn

Svetlana is one of the smartest people I have ever met. Looking into her research is inspiring, she's incredible. She's so keen for Physics and women in the sciences, and although her Astronomy class is a joke to pass she does it for the love of Phsyics. A genius crossed with a sweetheart crossed with a hottie. She's the greatest.
