Comment:

I had Dr. Giuliano for social psychology and I enjoyed it for the most part. It was a really hard class, but I learned a lot and she always made it fun. I'd just recommend making sure that you don't wait until the last minute to do your work, read carefully so that you understand everything, and study well in advance for the exams.

Comment:

Best professor in the Psych dept and possibly on campus. Loves getting to know students, and it's really easy to get on her good side. Methods was no joke, but she is clear about the effort you need to succeed and organizes everything well. Study regularly and spend time on all the assignments - do that and you'll be golden.

I took my FYS Sex Talks with Dr G and her class was my hardest class all semester, but it definitely helped me prepare for my other classes. She is very helpful, nice, and strict. She puts a lot of effort in this class.

She is by far my favorite prof at SU. She was really helpful and made the theories we were learning apply to our daily life by using stories from her life as well as other psychologists she went to school with. The class was incredibly difficult, but well worth it, because you come out with an appreciation for the subject!

Dr. G is really enthusiastic and helpful in her teaching. That being said she over-assigned for this course - it was only worth 2 hours and I did more work than in any of my 4 hour classes. Regardless, you will learn a ton of helpful stuff as long as you actually put some effort into it. Don't expect any easy grade.

Dr. G is a great professor. Her lectures & coursework schedules are super organized, which is helpful since RM's workload was one of the heaviest I've ever had. She's really enthusiastic about psych, & her lectures are entertaining. Hard work is a must, though; her exams can be rough! But you learn SO much from her, & she's really helpful!

Dr. G rocks! This class is super intense and a TON of work so go into it with the mindset that it is not going to be easy and you are going to have to work hard. However, the subject matter is interesting and you learn a lot of valuable information. Dr. G is way cool and very helpful!

This class kicked my ass. That said, Dr. G is cool and really smart. Her super organization may overwhelm you at times. If you need RM, this will really prepare you for afterwards. If you want to take her for another class, I bet it would be alot easier.

Dr. G is really well organized and her lectures are detailed. She gives real life examples for almost everything you learn in class and puts them into context. Her classes are definitely not easy, but the topics are interesting. She is more than willing to help in anyway. I have her for two classes and have never seen her play favorites...

She always tells her students exactly what she is expecting, so there is no guesswork involved. She is interesting and was really helpful. She's tough but if you do the work and pay attention she isn't that hard. Of course I had her for a freshman course so she might be easier. But overall really fun and energetic. I'd recommend her!

She's a tough teacher, but you will learn a lot in her class. I loved the subject, but am not crazy about her personally. She definitely has favorites. Those that she likes, she's great friends with and very caring towards, but she's snobby about Psychology... if you don't get your doctorate you'll never be successful.
