Dr. Curry is a very sweet professor, very involved on campus and is always ready to chat with students. Her one downside is that she gets off track in lecture.

Curry teaches writing classes which are always difficult at USJ. Be prepared for lots of reading and writing in her classes, don't be afraid to see a tutor. She is very nice, not scary at all, but expects you to put your all into the class...I mean, it is college! It's hard, but do-able!

I have to agree with the others that said she is completely unorganized and I think spacy. Although I did well in her class the grading was very inconsistent and I think somewhat mood based. She encourages debate but then gets angry if you don't agree with her. I won't take anymore classes with her

Prof. Curry is tough, but fair. She expects you to put forth your best effort, but she is very understanding and flexible as long as she doesn't think you're slacking off. She is very flexible in class and allows input from the class, she'll even alter assignments. She appears disorganized because she is flexible, not strict.

Prof. Curry is a wonderful philosophy teacher who really knows her stuff backwards and forwards. She is a tough but fair grader who expects you to give her your absolute best. She doesn't rush through the classes, but makes sure the students understand what she's talking about. Hard course, but valuable. Would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

Found her to be all over the board. Grading criteria was questionable at best. she decided to spring a final project of 3 essays on the class on the last day, with absolutely no prior notice. I feel like she is knowledgeable about the subject but does not know how to articulate her thoughts without sounding condescending. Not recommended at all!!!!

Dr. Curry is a nice person, but completely disorganized. She adds additional assignments and emails them to the class at 10 oclock at night, the night before the class. She did not provide us with a clear syllabus, and her major assignments come out of nowhere. I don't understand her grading.

Prof. Curry is most likely bi polar. She doesn't keep a sylabus, so you NEVER know what's going on in class. She will spring an essay on you out of nowhere. She is unorganized, e-mails assignments without having discussed them at all in class. She is a tought grader, never satisfied, and will contradict herself from class to class.

I loved Dr. Curry. She was one of my favorite teachers. I also love the fact that she's the new Honors Director. I hated Philosophy, but she made it ok to deal with. Definitely take her.

I learned a lot. If you want to be called on to answer questions, don't be vocal about your religious views or conservative views. This happened to me at first, but then I made a good point and all was forgotten. A lot of reading and assignments, but I didn't find the work extremely hard. I found her grading very fair.

She is an excellent teacher, and really knows her stuff. Although she can be one tough cookie. She seriously pushes you to your best and won't accept anything less. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

she starts off normal at the beginning of the semester, then she goes crazy towards the end. saying really catty things to students. even called one student a **** in my class! nobody could believe their ears! its really funny. and it didnt only happen in my class, others i know have had similar experiences

She's a great professor, and definitely organized. She's enthusiastic, but definitely a tough/challenging grader. Is great for assisting when you feel you've fallen behind if you participate, and attend all classes. Overall pretty good.
