He makes you go above and beyond what the A&P pre-req should be, but that is EXACTLY what got me through my first year of nursing school! I still say his toughness and HILARIOUS teaching style played a big role in getting me through nursing school.

He is a genius! I will miss him and so will MONTCO!! If yor donot do well in his class that means you are NOT ready to be a nurse. Someone has to sift out the bad seeds and Uncle AL had no problem telling the truth, I think he is saving lives by doing so!!He will be missed!!

Wonderful teacher. This man really knows his material,he was an RN for 40+ years? Very tough teacher, test are more straightforward than his quizes.Really makes this class interesting with his jokes and songs. However I did not enjoy all his rants about being a nurse as it did not pertain to me, but if it did he would have been very motivational

Amazing. Makes this boring class interesting. Takes the pulse of the class continually and responds based on where the students are. Amazingly responsive. Most profs put you to sleep and don't care. I have never learned so much or laughed so much in a class in my life. I sincerely wish all my profs were this talented. I looked forward to class.

He knows his material and he does help you in the long run, but his method of teaching is to try and make the class as difficult and tricky as possible. By doing this it moves you to study really hard, but sometimes his questions are so off the wall that it doesnt really matter how well you prepared. I'd take someone else(Abrahams or Bassi)

A great teacher. Very difficult class - the quizzes are killers! But preparing for the quizzes makes the tests easier. Doing the extra credit is the equivalent of a perfect quiz grade - so do it!

I nearly failed (60%) his class and I'm an A/B student. He love to give you trick questions on the tests. He has you do extra credit assignments but it's really only worth 5 points and does nothing for your grade. If you want a great teacher, take Dr. Harendza. I retook it with him in summer 1 and got B!

Definitely a hard class, but that makes the final easy! And the final is worth 20% of your grade. This quizzes are MUCH harder than the tests, so try not to get discouraged from the beginning! He is a great teacher and really prepares you.

I am an Honors Student going to school full time. Its either you understand his questions or you don't. I realized from the first day of class I would find it difficult to follow him. I got an A- in Summer I and got a C+ in his class. I have to retake this class in the summer bc the school I am applying to wants minimum B for all courses.

Absolutely Amazing!! Hard, yes, but if you are going into a medical field NO ONE can prepare you better!!After his class, the final is easy!He yells, sings, makes noises, and calls his students honeybears but he's right when he says that if he ends up in the ER he wants to see people who know what they are doing and not getting by!! 100% awesome!!!

I thought Dr. Baccari was a supernice person but a terrible teacher. He is all over the place and sticks to minor details that only a physician would need to know. He is the most discouraging teacher I had aside from his wife. They both love to tell you no one will pass thier class. Stay away and take another professor.

I ABSOLUTELY loved al...probably one of my most favorite classes and my only class I actually wanted to be there for for every lecture. Everyone hypes him up as impossible, well you are obviously not putting in the time or effort or maybe nursing isnt your calling. If you are a nursing major - Prof. Bacarri will prepare you better than the others. I just graduated nursing and 75% of the remaining students in my NUR 213 course had Baccari. His tests are closer to the type of tests you will see in the nursing program - and he actually went thru the nursing program himself. This course is a FULL TIME JOB!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! Anatomy and Physiology II became doable and even fun despite tough with Prof. Al. He yells, he raps, he is all over the classroom. He will go the second, third, fourth mile if you even start to do your part.

Subject is hard, quizzes are hard. Test are easier then quizzes. My second time taking this class. Did much better this time. He sings, dances, shouts, and stomps don't take it personal his class is fun but hard.
