Prof. Mori is one of my favorite teachers at Mizzou! She's super nice, explains things well and her classes are really enjoyable! There is some group work, quite a bit of reading, several quizzes (not too hard if you do the reading) and you need to participate to get a good grade! Great teacher and an interesting course!

Comment:

She's incredibly hilarious and really passionate about what she teaches. Sometimes she goes on tangents, but if you ask her to explain more specifically she'll be more than willing to do so. Very personable, and knows her stuff. Discussion is important so be ready to talk!

Women in the Ancient World. I just showed up, I never paid attention, and rarely did the readings... I wrote the papers the day of or the day before. Read sparknotes for the ones you can and you will do just fine. It's not a difficult class, and it's pretty enjoyable. She's quirky, but wonderful.

FANTASTIC professor. All you have to do is go to class, listen, and do the readings. She makes it very easy to do well if you put in some effort. Very funny and just altogether great, LOVE HER!

She's a very interesting person..her strange and bubbly sense of humor shines through and you really feel as if you know her pretty well by the end of the semester. Reading the book will help but it is possible to do decent by just studying the lecture guides she posts.

Professor Mori, is doll and leads a very entertaining class. It is not necessary to read the book AT ALL, WHATSOEVER! But you will need to study for the test. I suggest you make flash cards for each character, place, lecture topic, etc. The best strategy for passing is to attend class and read the lecture guides she posts online.

She was a great teacher and tried her best to make it interesting. Her power points sometimes left out a lot of info but she puts all the important stuff online in lecture guides anyway. The names get a little confusing but if you go to class and study even a little you will be fine.

Dr. Mori is a great teacher. She is a little bubbly at times, but I kind of liked it because it brought some energy to the class and to a subject that can be kind of boring. The tests are pretty hard, but she makes up for it with easy quizes and points for attendance. I highly recommend her class. Just be prepared to work.

AMAZING teacher, great class. Always interesting, and fun to go to. Do the readings before class (or at least before the test) and go to class, you will enjoy it for the entertainment value and the boost to your GPA.

Women in the Ancient World; I pray that you actually want to take this class if you are enrolled. Such painfully boring subject matter, yet Dr. Mori does her best to make it interesting. She is pretty funny, but she seems to just stay a little ahead in the book and use Google a lot to give information for classes.

Dr. Mori is an entertaining albeit sometimes odd teacher. My friend and I both stopped taking notes after the first test. She posts very thourough lecture outlines online. We studied those the day of the test and both got an A in the class. Easiest teacher to date. Make sure you come to class as she gives out extra credit every now and then.
