Comment:
Dr. Repousis is a good guy. He won't berate or talk down to you for asking him questions, and he knows what he's talking about. As long as you make an effort and don't disrespect him, you'll do fine. Get ready to read a lot of long chapters, though.

Dr. Repousis is nice, but boring. We had 4 essays instead of tests and the lowest grade was dropped. The class is basically pointless and you get 4 skips. It's not hard, but you have to cite every single reading he puts on D2L to get a good grade. He assigns a ton of readings.

This class is boring and the lectures are long. He assigns unrealistic readings for the week and is always behind on the outlines. He is a nice guy overall just not the best teacher. Go to class and take notes and write the papers.

Very, very dry lectures. Each test we had was essay based so you had to know the information forward and backwards which was nearly impossible because he assigned sooooo much reading to do each night. He doesn't realize that most people in the class are just taking it to fulfill a gen-ed requirement. He's also a hard grader.

I took this class expecting it to be somewhat easy because it is a gen ed. Let me tell you how this was the absolute worst class i have ever taken and he is terrible. He assigns so much work and readings. He also is very hard on papers, he basically expects you to be a mind reader and write what HE would include in HIS OWN paper. just never him!!!!

This guy really has good intentions, and the class material is somewhat interesting towards the end. You don't really need to do the ridiculous amounts of reading he assigns and he is pretty easy on grading. You're allowed 5 absences and all you need to do is contribute a small amount in order to get the participation points.

I have never had a class this bad. I believe I am going to do okay, because I did half of the reading every week. He assigned unreal amounts of reading, about 150-200 pages of text and 20-50 of outside articles. Strongly recommend taking any other class.

Extremely boring. I took him for global perspectives and I regret it completely. He asks for you to purchase 4 texts for his class and expects an unreasonable amount of readings in a week. I am in class now and there are 57 students enrolled with 19 in attendance. He is a nice man who means well but a bad teacher overall.

The class is boring. He gives an unrealistic amount of readings every week. He asks 20 questions back to back and then expects you to answer him. His writing is sloppy so you must listen to take notes. Take home tests make the class bearable.

Very helpful teacher. He assigns an unrealistic amount of readings for his Global Perspectives class though. Attend class, take notes, and participate in group discussions. The topics he discusses are interesting, but the articles he picks out are long and boring. Has a bad habit of saying the word "again" in every sentence.

Although this class is boring sometimes, the class is easy! You have to come to class because you really need to take good notes. You write a few essays but they are easy if you cite documents he gives you! Take this class its easy! Also he really wants everyone to do well and helps you if you need help!

Standard intro level summer class. Provides essay questions early giving ample time to prepare. Only had 3 writing assignments plus participation. Readings are easy, but course pack notes are expensive and not that useful. He didn't get through outlines in just one day, but is obviously interested in what he is teaching, though not exciting.

Took this class in the summer. It was extremely easy. Only had 2 take home papers that were 3-5 pages and the final was also take home paper 5-7 pages. Class was interesting and easy if you read. He gave us the final questions weeks before it was due. Recommend it be taken in the summer.

Not sure if he's still there. I had him F07 but wished people had rated half the professors I've taken so here I am. He wasn't bad. I had AP US History the prior year so his class wasn't that bad. I felt it was an easy A as long as you go to class and take notes. The weekly document summaries were only like a paragraph and helped to get an A.

The most boring class ever. He writes sloppy and doesn't really stick to his words. Like discussion groups we never get to them. And it takes him about two days to get through one outline. Guy means well and is nice but i just wouldn't recommend taking this class.

Most boring class. Does not focus on anything interesting and acts like his class is the only one your taking by giving you busy work. Expect a journal every week and tedious take home assignments which require 8-14 pages of writing. Would not recommend. He means well but just expects too much for a gen ed class.

very easy class, gives weekly journals and 2 take home assignments, classes are extremely boring and there is no point in really paying attention but if you do the reading in Zinn/Arnove, forget the Boyer book, you should be fine with the journals and assignments
