She teaches at every level and is very inspiring, I didn't know as much as the other music majors in my class but because of her teaching I was not only able to keep up but learned alot as well!

Such an amazing professor! There are multiple papers but they are very easy. She's the sweetest and most caring professor I've ever had and I would 100% take her class over & over if I could. It seems like a horrible class but actually is not too bad at all! She makes it very simple and it should be an easy A

Ms. Brown is not really a good instructor at all. She called me and my friends out for simple stuff like sneezing and embarrassed us. There are 10 cumulative Listening quizzes and one on each exam. A living composer report (you get to pick from like 10 composers so if someone else picks first, oh well) Would not take her again.

Gat knowledge of music although she is not really interested in truly teaching instead just discussing It. Get ready for those pop quizzes on cumulative listening skills. Dont know those? Youre screwed. Its an interesting course but It will quite literally put you to sleep. There is one paper, 4 tests & numerous listening skills. KNOW UR SONGS

Mrs. Brown is a teacher that assumes just because she knows and understands something, everyone will get it right off of the bat. She goes off on tangents that make people confused. She ignores people when they speak, and is very hard to get her to remember conversations that youve had, as she pays little attention to her students.

The class is pretty annoying, each test you have to do has listening skills and it is cumulative. Gives you notes and facts about composers that most people don't even care about so if you can endure then it's an easy A. You have to do a composer report with a group, there is a seating chart, and you have to go to 1 concert.

Ms. Brown is a very unique individual, to say the least. She has probably the most knowledge and appreciation towards the quintessence of what music represents, and is felt, than any one I know. I consider myself blessed for taking her class. I have a true appreciation for the finer things in life, which always has and always will include music.

Awesome teacher. Really knows her stuff and is passionate about what she teaches. I loved having her class. Learned so much! Classwork was simple and easy. This class was fun! Highly highly recommended! Took for 5 wk summer class. YOU ROCK MS BROWN!

Very Boring teacher...Listening skills makes her test hard. she isnt polite at all. You are required to attend a concert performance which are all in clemson. You are required to do a research project on a composer you have to do it the way she wants it or you get a bad grade. I wouldnt ever take a class from her again

Definitely rude. You ask her questions and she ignores you. Takes forever to work computer. Gets a little too excited over composers. Expects a lot for a basic music class, but definitely not impossible to make an A with some studying.

Very unhelpful. Rude. Unprofessional. Listening skills take a lot of time outside of class. Assigned seats. :/ Group project. Doesn't know how to work her computer and takes a lot of class time figuring it out. Marks people absent even if they are there. I wouldn't take another class from her. Ever.

Not a super easy A but if you put in the effort an A is not to hard to make. The listening skills get pretty hard near the end. She does tend to make you feel as if she is better then you and you can deff. tell which students she likes and which she does not but I did not feel as if that would hurt or help your grade.
