Easier professor for this class but really bad lecturer. He's a sweet guy but is a bit old. Go to office hours instead of his class and you will do well. 75 for a B- so it's a bit more fair. HW is long but easy if you go to him and get "help". Averages were around a C- though. Not really proof heavy versus the other professors so it's fine.

He gives a bunch of extra credit so it is easy to make up points. If you miss a class it is hard to pick up the material. The only bad thing is that he is really slow and half the class falls asleep. I personally thought the class material was super interesting. He posts everything to canvas and uses piazza. He gives you practice exams to study.

You need to make an effort to pay attention or you'll get lost (or fall asleep). You can ask questions, but you probably won't get the answer you're looking for. You can redo HW assignments as many time as you want before the due date (only uses highest grade for each). If you can self-study then this class won't be a problem.

Took him in fall 2013. He was a decent professor. His tests are not horribly difficult, but his lectures are long, and he really, really likes juggling. He gives extra credit for doing things like going to juggling club and other things. He's actually really nice if you ask him for help too. The book is not the greatest, but it's good practice.

DON'T TAKE HIM. One of the worst professors I've had. Does not teach well at all. Very mono tone. Reads off his powerpoint and looks down when facing his students. Sometimes he would get stuck solving a problem on the board and students would tell him the answers. Exam problems came from his past exams that he would post online for us to study.

Application course. Stuff is complicated when relates to linear algebra. His lecture is too hard to follow because the connections are missing between each line, and the notes have insufficient detail. Attending office hour is required to make sure you solved the problem problems correctly. Solve ALL the problems and ALL extra credit to earn an A.

Difficult course. His lectures could be hard to follow sometimes unless you read the section in advanced. Adding further detail and connections on his notes are strongly recommended. Homework is hard, so go to office hour if you cannot solve any of the problems. Exams are too long but he graded fairly. Many extra credit opportunities.

Not Recommended. He cannot teach well. He wrote the book for the course but the book is as bad as his teaching style. His lecture is not very terrible but you will wonder what have you learn today. He will help you in his office hour for problem that you cannot solve. His grading scale is low, but if you want to learn, find another teacher.

Not exciting but methodically explained all problems. Very helpful in office hours for hardest problems that I couldn't figure out.

Another snoozer class. But it's so freaking easy that you barely have to go, if you understand the class. Only 3 homework assignments for the whole semester (but the're pretty big). Easy A.

This guy is boring as hell (you'll have ADD before you get out). He dose give 20 Extra credit point at the end of the class which helps, since the math is hard

His lectures are boring, voice is monotone. He is head of juggling club, brings juggling equipment first week of class, that was the highlight of the class. Book is boring, recommend a study buddy for this class. Good thing is he curves grade.
