Professor Thompson is the best professor I have ever had in my life. I took classes with him about a decade ago and manged to get A's from him, so it is not impossible to get an A with him (but I winced when he gave me an A-). Think for yourself & show that you have respect for your own beliefs even if they clash with his. Very sexy man.

Thompson is the best professor in his department. He has exceptionally high standards, but you will learn so much. My advice is to read all of his assignments at least twice before showing up in class. Any B- from him is an A in another class.

Professor Thompson is wonderful. His wealth of knowledge amazes me and his sense of life is a model for all. A lot of students fear him and many are discouraged from taking classes with him, but this is uncalled for. He is challenging, but he is very fair

An interesting prof with some very intriguing political views. A knowledgeable powerhouse of politics and history from 1500 to 1800. He has several books, and is working on a documentary. Go into class and say that John Adams is your idol. It's good.
