First of all, the lady also works at Disneyland, how cool is that?? Viselli is an amazing woman of God and I've learned so much from her this semester. There really isn't much homework and the "final" is a research paper that you get to revise 3 times before it's turned in for the real grade. She's so sweet and truly cares about you. I loved her!

She's a very nice lady. The class was super easy, but I wasn't a huge fan. It was so easy that I tended to neglect the class, even though I really love English. I was pretty bored. But since it's a freshman writing requirement, I didn't expect much.

Best freshman writing seminar teacher here. She's extremely helpful and very caring about her students. Easy class. There's barely any homework. Only few papers but nothing too hard. TAKE HER!

Loved her as a professor! I looked forward to coming to that class every time. I absolutely hate writing and felt very uncomfortable with my writing, she helped and pushed me along and I received A's on the majority of papers. She also talks a lot about relationships which is extremely helpful the first year of college. Take her if you can!!!!

This professor was easyyyy. I learned more about relationships in her class than I did about writing though... Still a good class! For an english professor, she doesn't grade hard at all on papers. I got A's on all of them. Just make sure you follow the intrusions and MLA format. :D Easy A.

Very nice lady!She is in <3 with Disneyland,so if you want to get her talking talk about Disney.She gives out a lot of essays.The class can be boring at times, but it's aight.You really dont need all the books.She gave one or two tests. You NEED to attend class and be on TIME! I would suggest taking her class as long as you do your work your fine!

Do not take this professor. She gives you assignments, with very unclear guidelines. She will grade your rough draft and give you an A, then give you a C- on your final draft. She has set beliefs, that you better not challenge. Thinks the Shack is God's book...overall, terrible professor. If you want to enjoy your FWS, don't take her

I adored this class. She was my favorite teacher and I learned a ton from her. She's extremely helpful and gave me a whole new appreciation for writing. I was quite sad on the last day of class and will definitely try to take some of her classes down the road, should she be teaching them. Definitely take this class!!!

decent class. i think there were too many times where we would break up into groups and discuss things. she is a very nice lady, very willing to help you with your problems. just make sure you do your MLA format correctly, and you should get a good grade in this class. the shack was a great book, glad to see we spent a lot of time on it in class.

Very nice lady, but the class was a joke. All we did was break into small groups and over discuss literature. We spent over half the semester on The Shack, and a week on To Kill A Mockingbird (should have been switched). I was expecting a MUCH better book list. Very easy, but rather a waste of my time. She is pretty conservative in her opinions.

she is a nice teacher and her class isnt that hard, but she is confusing on her grading, she will correct your paper the first time, but not catch mistakes and then mark u off on the final version, a lot of writing, and doesnt correct you when something is wrong multiple times, expect you to know MLA and stuff

One of my favorite teachers. I actually got an A in a writing class, which is rare for me! She was very helpfull, and didn't make you write too many essays. The final research paper was pretty easy, and she gives you lots of time to do it. Take this teacher!

pretty easy class. not allowed to miss more than 3 classes. nice teacher. papers aren't too difficult and you can choose what you want to write about in the realm of relationships. turn in multiple versions of papers before it's due. rarely used books - don't recommend buying them!

Mrs. Visselli was an awesome teacher. she had easy, interesting topics on relationships. there were only 4-5 papers to write and you always had some say in the topic you wrote on. she cancelled class a lot and always helped you out on your papers! definetly do what you can to take her as a teacher! she is amazing, and very knowledgable!!
