Dr. Wootton enjoys teaching his subject. His lectures are hardcore, super fast moving, and intense. But it is the class you will most learn in your life. Being a good note-taker is the key for passing his class. His exams are very hard, but similar to exercises practices in class. Super helpful in the office and in class. Best Professor EVER!

Wootton is super nice and loves helping but the truth has gotta be said, his notes are all over the board in class and his tests are super hard. class def. requires alot of your time

Best teacher in my college career. He does not try to pull any tricks on exams and you have a good working knowledge of what to expect on his tests. He is friendly and cares about his students and will work with you if you are having trouble. A++

Comment:

Dr. Wootton is the nicest person ever! He goes through alot of material each class, but will always slow down for questions. Tests are fair, always over stuff from the notes, no surprises. Quizzes every week are like in class problems, so they shouldn't be hard if you look your notes over. It keeps your studying on track. Highly recommended!

Great teacher. He's a really nice guy who will try his hardest for you to understand. We had weekly quizes and three tests. The tests weren't extremely hard and I really enjoyed his class. He seems to only cover the info that you need to know. We only really used the book for practice problems

Great Professor! I recommend taking him for as many classes as you can! One of the best professor in the Accounting department. Does go fast but will stop to make sure everybody understands. Quizzes once a week usually and its important to be in class.

Hmm, tough class, but presented material well, if not a BIT too fast, gives you lots of opporitunities for grades, dont miss class though, pretty tough tests, quizzes help understanding, eccentric guy, but overall, i'd take him again, just dont expect to sleep through this one...good prof. though...

As an Accounting major, it is my opinion that Dr. Wootton is the best professor in the department. He throroughly explains everything and always stops to make sure everyone is absolutely clear on what he is presenting.

He has a speech problem so it is kind of hard to understand some times. He also has very bad handwriting on the board. And a lazy eye. He does present the material well. There is a quiz almost every class period. Most of them is over the same classifications though.
