Comment:

He is very knowledgeable in the subject and I can understand why some people wont like his class. But if you do exactly what he tells to do for the projects and paper you will do alright. I enjoyed the class and learned something.

If you study and work hard. You will get the grade that you deserve. Projects, midterm and the option to do a final or a final paper. It is not a difficult class but sometimes he can be disrespectful if you ask him for help. If you need extra help or have questions after class he will not entertain or help you.

Comment:

Initially expected a nightmare after trying to navigate 4-5 websites he has (which are very difficult to sort through and need to be pared down and organized better). Ended up enjoying the lectures and learning a lot. A lot of reading, but a lot of it's similar and the 'tests' are just to make sure you're on time and have read something.

I took this class online- it was terribly organized. The school should consider removing this class from it's curriculum. I have never heard of an MPA/MBA offering a movie class. I only took it b/c I needed an online class. I would skip his online courses-Try for Waisanen, his online classes are well organized and expectations are clearly defined.

Horribly disorganized class. Information is spread all over the place, syllabus is labyrinthine, a lot of information is out of date. If you can sort through that morass, he's generally an easy grader. Majority of grade is from two assignments and a term paper. Basically had to do the assignments by using the examples in the book.

The man is extremely dry in nature. However, his work is as comprehensive as budgetting can get. He posts about a ka-trillion posts a day but his work is easy. He never assigns something that he hasn't taught you or explained before hand. Every assignment comes with a precise description and an example. He is strick on attention to detail.

Overall, a pretty good professor. Budgeting and Analysis isn't an easy subject to take on, but he got it down. The syllabus was a bit hard to navigate at first, but I got the hang of it after a couple of run-throughs. He's a fair grader and sort of lays it all out there for you, but you just have to do the work. I've definitely had worse.

An online course should be well-organized, and this class was terribly organized. The assignment table and syllabus were nearly impossible to decipher & assignment directions were confusing - the examples didn't match what he wanted & he included outdated directions from prior semesters that no longer applied.

Comment:

Even though I did well in his class his instructions were very confusing and he was not particularly helpful via email. He doesn't make you feel like you can ask questions and being online the ability to ask questions is key as so much of what he gave us needed clarification. Video lectures and significant discussion posts on a weekly basis.

This class was mainly an online course. Videos and instructions were all online. Voice is very mundane and boring. Assignments are fairly simple and easy. No final exam just a final paper. He can be a bit unclear as to what he expects for and takes points off for the silliest things. Needs to be a lot clearer in emails and instructions.

Excellent professor. Had him both for Budgeting (9140) and Ethics (9010). The material can be difficult at times for both courses, but he is very helpful and friendly. The workload can seem overwhelming at first, but the assignments are useful and relevant Highly recommend!

Comment:

Professor Williams made class interesting and fun. He has a great sense of humor. I learned a lot about budgeting and actually get to apply your knowledge through the assigned projects. Budgeting is not such a thrilling subject, but he makes it more enjoyable. He is fair with grading and always willing to help students.

Comment:

Professor Williams is a good Professor. His syllabus is a bit intimidating at first, bu the class turned out to be worth my while. The quizzes are from the readings are you grade your self so not so bad. Take this professor if you want to learn about the important parts of budgeting.
