AVOID at all costs. He isn't a bad person, his judgement on teaching is horrible. His exams are all hand written using his own words, which makes them very confusing, you need the book to pass, and he says he takes participation points, but never asks questions in class to get them? not overly hard, but he never understood the students side.AVOID

This class was a huge headache. I liked him as a person but class was painfully boring and he liked to encourage people to drop. Tests were tough - about 75% book and 25% lecture. You want to read the chapters because you'll lose interest during lecture. If you hang in there you'll pass but everyone was concerned about failing all semester.

Worst professor I have ever had. 5% of your grade is his opinion of you and he tests you on his opinion of the material instead of just from the textbook. He is not helpful and does not return the mandatory paper you write. Also very rude and his sense of humor can be insulting.

had org behavior with him. His classroom teaching was a joke. follow along in the book. only take notes when he puts a + next to it on the board. i'd take him again. he has a strange sense of humor. i found it enjoyable.

EXAMS ARE TOUGH but he does curve them. If you go to class and study like your supposed to do in college then its really not that bad. The material is really not that interesting but useful. I reccommend the guy

Ok I rather like Fred. He keeps lectures light, you do need to take notes though. Attendence is not required but highly recommended. He curves exams & you take 5 of them & they are difficult but do-able. Really not that bad of a class. I would recommend him.

This class was OK. I heard the other mgmt classes were a lot easier than ours so I would recommend taking someone else if you can. The tests are difficult--he does curve so that helps. 50% of your grade is based on class discussions. He doesn't keep up with the grading so it's hard to know what you have in the class. But he is a nice person.

FRED..... The worst professor i ever had in my 4 years of college. Not only is it impossible to sit through his class, but it makes be sick to my stomach to hear his voice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, try taking the course online or at a different college he is a TERRIBLE professor

I can understand some of his bad reviews but he wasn't a terrible prof. Very boring tho and attendance was manditory. Don't skip often as he has a unique way of deducting points for misses. My biggest problem was he only had 3 tests which was worth 100% of our grade.

My whole IUP career and the only 2 C's i got were from this weirdo! how could i have got a C when nothing we ever did was graded and he stayed up all night on his bizzare talk radio show? when told that we would get our grades back on things, we were handed a sheet that had a queer calculation that he didnt even knew how to solve. hello?

Have fun with this one. He's the most boring professor ever. Sitting through his class was like pure torture. His tests are open-book but extremely difficult and he can't grade papers to save his life. Don't take if you can avoid it.

His tests are poorly constructed. You get next to no feeback on your work. Lucky if you get a couple of grades the whole semester. Avoid, avoid, avoid if possible. Really nice guy but extremely disorganized and changes syllabus regularly at the last minute. Doesn't lecture on most of what he test.

Attendance is very important in this class. Also, the test comes straight from lecture and book - tests are hard, must study! Homework is important, but near impossible.

There are so many things I could say, but I'll just say try to avoid him. He's a smart guy but his class seems very disorganized and haphazard. Purposely tries to trick you on the tests. He curves but the uncertainty of your grade can be frustrating. If you study enough you'll pass but it'd just be better to take someone else.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! His lectures are very boring and he takes forever to get material covered. Alot of the time he starts class by going over stuff from the previous class. He makes jokes that are stupid and his tests are strange. He is always late and keeps you after. The best thing that he could do is retire so someone who can tech can be hired.

Horrible professor. The worst I've had at IUP, and many other places. My friend went to way less classes than I, got worse test scores, and he got a better grade then I did by 2. He's rediculous, makes you feel like you'll never make it in the 'real world.' Avoid at all costs...
