Comment:

This man, as eccentric as he may be, was a great teacher. He loves what he teaches and it comes through in his teaching. Sociology is his passion. He may be difficult to understand but if you do your reading/work you'll get it. Also, he was extremely helpful outside of class. I had him every semester.

CRAZY man. He was gone for half of the semester because he was in the hospital for the flu. And when he was in class he claimed he was wanted by the FBI. Awful class, awful teacher.

I loved this guy. I graduated 7 years ago and decided to rate him when I found this site. Hes well informed and very bright. I took 2 classes with him and learned so much.

undergrads - if you are serious about an education - take Dolph - you will learn a lot from him; and as for the community service portion - more profs should require undergrads to think outside the box. He was one of the best profs I had at Lasalle. If you're interested in getting easy A's without learning or doing crap then don't take him

First of all, there was a mandatory community service aspect of this course when I took it, so right off the bat, I knew I was in for a weird one... then in class one day, Dolph actually said "All Republicans should be shot." Because of that, this was the only class I ever dropped in 4 years at La Salle.

Oh George Dolph you hairy hairy man. He was so boring I didn't even understand what he was talking about most of the time. Although fun to compare him to Jerry Garcia, not worth taking! Papers and tests are too hard!

Nice man, but very dry and boring in class. Would not reccomend him for an upper level. He talks about topics, more than he teaches about them. Words his questions on test in confusing ways. Try taking Carbone for a similar upper level class.

Very easy to get along with and does everything in his power to help you grasp the material. Has a very relaxed teaching style and makes the material interesting
