Dunn is a great professor. He definitely cares about his students, and does his best to make sure that he is accessible to anyone who needs it. His lectures are interesting (though he is a little all over the place).

I had him for Social Theory and that class was extremely challenging to get through with the way he taught things. We would read these random books and watch random movies which were irrelevant. I felt like we either didn't learn anything for one class, or we had 4 lectures he tried to squeeze into an 1.5 hr lecture. Nice person, but hardest class.

Dunn was an interesting professor. very fair and knowledgeable. this wasn't a regular religion class we covered snake handling churches and drug addicted Amish. Dunn presented the facts of religion as they related to society and was academically critical while never promoting or degrading any one religion above the others.

Comment:
Dr. Dunn was extremely helpful and very insightful. I learned things in this class that were engaging and genuinely enlightening. His classes always demanded more than others in the department, but the rewards were far greater. Clearly an exceptional Sociologist from the old school way of doing things. One of those Teachers I will always remember.

Great teacher! Fun class to have. He's a smart guy, and he expects you to do you work. But he is one of the coolest professors at the school, hands down!!

Great Guy.... Has a big heart and really cares about his students. Arranges his own business around his students' classes. Makes his students his first priority. Provides ample review prior to graded examinations. This guy really cares about your success... please treat him just as fairly as he does you!!

This guy is terrible. Thinks he is hilarious and "cool," but not at all. His jokes are almost as bad as his inane sense of his own popularity within the student community. The guy honestly trys way to hard to keep up with his youth.

Scatter-brained, scatter-brained, scatter-brained. He really is a great professor to take though. Tests are not too hard as long as you study well enough. Classes are always a hoot.

Dunn is great! I've been having fun in his class! He's been trying hard to keep us interested since it's a summer session & he's done a great job so far! He does encourage you to keep up w/the readings (duh what prof doesnt), but other than that, his quizzes/tests are straightforward & he helps you out along the way a lot! A++++ professor!!!

He's such a fun teacher, and even though we tend to get off topic, it's usually into something increasingly interesting. He's really laid-back about doing the readings for his class, although they can bite you in the ass come quiz and test time. Funny man!

Dr. Dunn is a brilliant man. Sometimes I think he is too brilliant to teach undergraduate students. He is a bit eccentric and always interesting. Make sure to do the assigned readings!

Weird guy, really nice though. He doesn't really teach to the tests....you really have no idea what will be on them.
