Comment:

This professor is quite difficult and expects a lot out of his students, but he is an excellent teacher. If you go to office hours, he will gladly explain something to you over and over in as many different ways as may be required for you to understand. If you actually want to learn the material, his classes are the best.

Horrible instructor!!!! Avoid him at all costs. Very lazy and pointless to ask him questions. Very arrogant and uncooperative, he uses test material that wasn't covered in the lecture or homework and expects you to know all the material in the chapter rather than the sections listed on the syllabus.

This teacher is not as bad as everyone says. If you ask questions he will go out of his way to help you understand. His english needs a little work is where I think everyone gets confused. He gives lots of POP quizzes, be there for EVERY class and don't leave early. Make notes on the pop quizzes they are almost ALWAYS on the test.

One of the worst professor in UAB. he doen't know what he is teaching. He is alway behind his course. No example in class. his homework is hard as hell and doesn't help u wid ur homework.he just yell at u for no reason. he confuse u all the time. everday he come to class n revise the same thing n give u different answer.try to avoid his class.

Just about the worst teacher at UAB next to the teachers in the Biology department. He doesn't answer questions, loses homework turned in, yells at students, confusses himself more than the students. No way around taking this course if you want to be a Math Teacher. Good Luck!

i couldnt agree more with what everyone else said. he doesnt answer questions. he says if you dont understand its not his fault, you should have had your prerequisits before you signed up. but if you think about it, you only have to pass 105 w a D... he counts correct answers wrong on tests. and again no partial credit... a MESS!

This teacher has to be, by far, the worst teacher I have had so far... He writes so fast on the board talking just as fast it is almost impoosible to learn without having some sort of outside help or teaching yourself. I agree with what everyone else has said so far. Another bad quality: NO review to study for the final!!

The ONLY reason I knew material was from the online HW service (ilrn.com). Seems like a nice guy, but would have definitly needed a tutor if we hadn't had access to the online help. Absolutley no partial credit for 1 section of test- frustrating for a business major. Final exam replaces class grade if better than previous avg.

First of all, he started out in chapter 4 and just assumed everyone had perfect knowledge of 1-3. His tests may as well have been written in Hebrew. The examples he works in class are nothing like what is on the exams and class attendance does not benefit you. I took this course from another professor later and he started in chapter 1. Run Away

This was the worst math teacher i have ever had.All he did were examples from the book.I had to w/d from his class.A teacher like this should not be allowed to teach at a Science and Math school.He missed four classes.We had a test on the first day he missed which wasn't until October and the second test was 2 weeks after that.

He has to be one of the worst teachers I have ever had. I aced cal one and had an excellent understanding of the material in cal2 but I made a 50 on my first test and finnally had to drop the class.
