Dr. Bowers is not good at his job. He is very boring and has terrible handwriting so it is very hard to take good notes. He gets off topic very easy and pushes his beliefs on the class heavily (liberal and atheist). The only grades were his midterm and final. With that said, his tests are almost identical to his review sheet so they were easy.

Dr. Bowers never uses his notes to lecture his classes, and very rarely has a plan or real information to write down. By the time we got to the midterm, the study guide had nothing that we had covered on it. Is a very fun man, but an unfocused and uncaring professor.

Dr. Bowers is a Class Act. He's the kind of Professor that you will remember fondly long after you've left his class. You would think being the only Republican conservative in his class I would have had a hard time. But such was not the case. I especially liked his theory about students who wear their baseball caps backwards... A definite No-No!

The Class wasn't that hard. It consists of 1- 2,3,4 page papers throughout the semester. 1 or 2 tests and a Final. The longest one is an analysis of data so you don't need to research anything. He's pretty good at making class interesting. If you need this class i'd say take it.

Anyone who can't get a high grade in Bowers class is a moron....he pretty much gives it to you IF YOU DO THE WORK. He is amazing. I graduated from Fisher in 93' Ask Bowers about the famous student trial of 92 in front of the judciary Cmte. He really will go out of his way to help!
