Great professor, you will learn a lot in his courses. He is extremely helpful if you need it. Tests can be difficult so you will need to study a lot for them. Grades tend to be curved a bit because of the difficulty of the subject.

Great teahcer, he will give everything to you straight, reminds us (Not that he should) that he will be open honest and clear about everything. He does not care if you do not care which is fair. If you have trouble actually go to his office he will help you. Great teacher

Great Professor. Very well educated! Attended top universities in the state including: Duke, Chapel Hill, NC State, and UNCC. Very funny comments in class. Doesnt abuse students like these others say. Very helpful when correcting errors in programs. Highly recommend for computer science classes!!!

This professor really knows his stuff and knows how to keep your interest as he teaches. His teaching style is flamboyant and his putdowns are always funny, just dont take them seriously if he does it to you. He swears a lot which makes the class even more entertaining. I would highly recommend this professor for learning challenging materials.

Explains concepts really well, has a very noticeable lisp. Willing to help you if you ask for it. Tests are difficult, but not too hard. This guy's the way to go if you still want to know what you did in this course after you're done.

Hard tests easy class. Prof curses like a sailor, tends to put down students. Knows his material. Easy Programs. Tries to intimidate people in the beginning of the year so he has smaller classes -- less papers to grade.

Curses students who ask q. (f*ckers, dumb*es, idiots, etc), doesn't want them to learn by themselves + discourages the use of thought (students have to do what he says and how he says it; other algorithms are wrong even when they're correct and/or more efficient). Avoid him unless you don't mind being humiliated and/or already know basic comp sci.

Makes you write alot more programs in this class than he says. Not really difficult to do if you have any experience but its hard if you dont. Tends to run down peoples necks in class. Tests arent overly difficult if you study.

Likes to give handouts! Be ready to learn C++ and do multiple easy programs. First test will suprise you especially for an intro class! Good teacher and very helpful. If you don't understand he'll help you if you go to him!

Makes a somewhat difficult subject harder by not being clear. Mumbles through most of his lectures and then isn't too clear on due dates, etc. Also don't ask questions that you think he might find stupid or he'll let you know it by cursing and making you look and feel like an idiot. Not recommended.

This guy knows his stuff but does a terrible job of teaching it. I found him very helpful however when I talked to him after class. His homework assignmens are very unclear and he is a very harsh grader. Just make sure you pay attention and you'll do ok on the exams.

Can be a real b*itch. Stay on his good side.Grades pretty harsh, and can reaally get on your nerves. Is also uncelar about assignment due dates. However, it was the most "college - like" class i had my first semester, and tests were really easy. His final exam also is a trick and doesnt count!

Mr. Garrison from Southpark.Can be a jerk sometimes, and definitely don't sleep in class, or you'll regret it. Overall a positive experience despite tests that take most by surprise. Lets you take final grade in place of exam grade if you want, but asks after the test so kids will actually try.
