Comment:

Nice professor but gave absolutely no feedback. It would take her days to respond and she never removed a duplicate incorrect grade despite other students and I repeatedly bringing up the issue. No reviews or outlines and very few lectures. Barely felt like an introductory statistics course, not a course for someone who is not proficient in math.

ignore every other review you've read about Mrs. Rami so far - this teacher was amazing. I had her for pre-calc, and while I may be a 4.0 GPA student, it's easy to pass this class. Her lectures are really thorough, and she does homework problems on the board that are identical to test ones. Pay attention, do the work, you'll pass with flying stars!

Comment:

Very poorly taught online course and provides very little support. During one of the exams at a testing center I realized about a minute after the exam started that conversion charts were not provided which I needed to answer many questions. Professor emailed charts to proctor 10 min. before my time was up. Wish I knew about this site sooner.

Comment:

If you're not good at math, don't take this class. Basically the book have to be your own teacher. If for some reason you decide to take this course, you might have to get a tutor, so you can understand the subject. Unfortunately, almost the entire class ended up dropping.

As long as you don't hate math in general then you will enjoy Ms. Rami. She explained everything and is very reasonable on homework and grading. She is a caring professor. As long as you TRY and not just to to slide by the class then you can pass.

Comment:

I took this course online over the summer and it was great. I am TERRIBLE at Math but managed to get an A. Every week there was a "module" that had the steps to solve different types of problems, practice questions, sometimes videos, LOTS OF VIDEOS. All in all I think it was pretty easy. I was pleasantly surprised.

At first, Professor Rami's coursework was very easy. However, even studying didn't help me. My class was online. She was inaccessible and unclear about exams. Once, she opened an exam and let us know a day late that we could use a chart that we NEEDED to solve equations, and I had already given my test by then. She didn't let me retake it.

Comment:

While Professor Rami is very intelligent and pretty nice, her overall teaching skills need improvement. The lectures she does facilitate very little class participation, she just blazes through important concepts so you need your notes big time. We were still learning important concepts a day before the final which was also rushed.

Nice lady, awful teacher, no help, wasn't helpful or clear, moved fast. Biggest thing was she didn't explain things and rushed everything, again, no help.

The accent is not a problem. I didnt find her way of explaining as hard as other people did, i just followed her instructions and did all the homework. if you dont do the homework you WILL fail not bec. she grades it but bec. you wont know how to do anything.

Her acsent wasnt a problem, she just doesnt know how to teach. The entire class is clueless and we are so far behind schedule.

This class is no joke. You have to study (true for any stats course). I didn't think she was that bad. She doesn't explain things very well but she gives a lot of examples. She gives study guides (some questions are exactly the same as on the test). Her accent can be hard to understand so just ask her to repeat herself.

Rami does not like to help you out at all. Takes her long time to respond to emails. Some she ignore. Class is online. If I don't get a B (as required for physics 101,) I'm reporting her, as she did not do her job in the first place. Too many assignments to really learn the material. My whole class is lost and is thinking about reporting her too!!!

Don't take her. She doesn't know how to teach, she doesn't reply to e-mails, she gave us the wrong syllabus (and I bought the wrong textbook), and she doesn't teach to the tests. She's nice, but she wasn't meant to be a teacher.

I'll keep this short. There are two types of professors in college. Those who can teach? and those who cannot teach. She cannot teach. She's a good person?, but not a good professor. Do not take the class, Waste of money and waste of time.

Professor Rami is a very knowledgeable woman but does NOT know how to teach what she knows to others. She moves through several lessons very quickly, and her accent is also very hard to understand. The only reason I got a B in this class was because I was going to the tutoring center regularly. Also very very tough grader on tests/ quizzes.
