By far my favorite professor I had during my four years at USI. Wish I had been able to take another class with her, but never got the chance. Not a piece of cake class, but definitely worth it. Put the effort in and you wont regret or forget the class.

Comment:

Professor Kiteou is much more friendly than she seems on the surface, and can come off as intimidating. However, there is no homework, and as long as you take extremely detailed notes on the slides for the online tests you will pass with an A. Sit near the front if you don't want to be called on during lectures. If emailed will give extra credit.

Although she is a really good person and a good professor her exams are difficult and you only have 3 exams. I am an A or B student and I received a D in this course. Which should not have been so difficult, considering it is a core.

She is a very interesting. I never went to class... ever. Maybe 4 or 5 times a month, and I got a B. All her tests are online. Find a friend and take them together, and you'll be fine. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, and beware of her TA (although he can be funny, he's kind of a know it all)!

Awful professor. Very hard to understand. Calls students out in class and is very rude. Grade is based on only 3 tests. They are all online and open note/book but ate still very hard. Do not recommend her.

She has a slight sense of humor but is not a good teacher. She is very hard to understand and she doesn't teach based off any notes, only straight from her brain. Only three grades make up your whole grade, which are three 50-question exams that are very hard and most of the time do not come from the notes or book. GOOD LUCK if you take her. Sucks.

Very harsh and will embarrass you if you answer a question incorrectly in class. Do not buy the book; all tests are based on lectures. I've attended every class and taken notes and the tests are still difficult.

She is very rude and her lectures are boring. There are only three grades for the whole semester, which are three tests online. The tests are open note and open book, but are very hard. If you get a bad grade on just one test, your grade is done for the semester since there are only three. Don't buy the book. Don't take her.

Do not take this class with her! Every test is online and those are your only grades, and most of the material was not covered in class in as much detail as it was on the tests. I got a C in this class which is the lowest grade I've received in college. Stay away!

Very difficult to hear.For a core class you will have to study more than you do for your own major.Even with going to lecture and taking notes,I never got higher than a 75 on a test and am an A student.Testing is online and one minute per question, and you can't go back at all. I learned in this class but my grade doesn't show it. Take someone else

She's going to be intimidating at first, but trust me, you won't regret taking the class. She's really a great and funny teacher. She's got a hardcore personality, but she's really not that bad. You never need the book and her tests are based off all her lectures. If you attend class EVERYDAY and TAKE NOTES, you will get excellent grades.

She is an awesome lecturer. She is super funny and keeps the class very interested in her lectures. Time flies in that class. You only have 4 online tests. You will get an a if you go to her class and takes notes on WHAT SHE TAKES ABOUT NOT WHAT IS ON THE SLIDES.The class is super easy if you take notes. No book needed!

Easy Class. Grades are based only on tests and quizes which are all done online. The textbook is barely used.Attendance isn't mandatory, but it helps to go because she empasises the major testing points. She is very enthusiastic about teaching, and if you answer a question in class without fully understanding it she will try to humiliate you.

Comment:

This class was much easier than the other humanities course I took. No outside reading or homework is required. I didn't open my textbook once or study for any of the tests and still received a B in the class. If you attend the lectures and print off her PowerPoints, you'll do well in this class.
