I love Dr. West! This has been my favorite class at JMU. You will learn so much in one semester, and she presents it in an interesting way! There are four tests that you'll be fine on if you study. Judy West is an extremely positive representation of JMU. Happy retirement, Dr. West.

Judy is the bomb dot com Seriously, she makes things so applicable. SHE IS A REAL PERSON! You will be able to relate to her and love her as a mother even in that 400 person lecture hall. Wonderful class, structured well, and just a great woman all together! P.S. you'll also fall madly in love with her "Strange little biscuit" <3

She definitely knows what she's talking about, and despite the class being at 9AM she's always really funny and full of energy. Attendance isn't taken and it's easy to get the notes if you miss them. Definitely take this class, she is great at explaining things.

Prof West is so cute and really funny! Lectures fly by and she acts just like a teenager, funny jokes and all! She includes videos and explains all the topics very very well. If you have taken a psychology class, this is pretty much a review. Make sure you print out the reading guides and add to it during the lecture. Favorite class by far!

I've skipped this class SO much. It's a huge class so she doesn't take attendance, but it's SO easy. She gives you study guides that go along with the book and it's pretty self-explanatory. If you don't understand something, go to class. Ask a question. She's so helpful! EASY EASY A.

PLEASE GET JUDY WEST!! She is the best psychology professor I could have asked for. She gives you study guides- FILL THEM OUT! They can be annoying to do, but if you fill them out(along with lecture notes) you will do really well in her class. Just remember to study for the tests and you should do fine! Awesome professor. I'm in a class with 300 people and she still makes the class interesting and fun! She makes study guides which makes it really easy! She shows videos all the time to help reinforce topics and give us breaks during notes. She answers questions from any student, even with so many students in the class. Overall a great professor.

Judy West is the BEST! By far the best professor I've had at JMU. She is the sweetest woman ever. Tries so hard to be clear/concise. Takes responsibility for mistakes and adds points to exams. Only 3 exams and 10 quizzes. Easy! I looked forward to her class because she is so FUNNY! LOVE her! Definitely take her! You won't regret!

Definitely take her! She really wants the class to succeed & quickly admits to any mistakes she makes & adjusts grades accordingly. Print out & fill in the study guides (which follow the book almost exactly) before lecture so you can really pay attention & you will do great!

Provides guides to read chapters that are helpful. Begins class with music and always on time. Powerpoints are beautiful and nice to watch. Some information only given in lecture so you must go to class. Add info we would be interested in to chapters--one of my favorite classes. She is always in a good mood. MUST study for tests, though.

LOVE HER! She wants to see the class do well she seems very grandmotherly & tries too be "hip" and she tells you exactly what is on the test even bolds it in her chapter outlines. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you go to lecture & study a little you will do well. She ALWAYS acknowledges when she makes a mistake & adjusts grades. TAKE HER :)
