I took her for BIO T122 and loved her. She is an incredibly passionate person about the environment (sometimes a bit too much ^^) and cares a lot about attendance. Her tests require more the skill of "association" than "knowledge" perse. I promise that if you study for a 2-3 hours per test and do all her extra credit, YOU WILL GET A SOLID A!

She's a very sweet lady who cares about her students. You may get tired of hearing her preach about the environment after awhile but she is definitely passionate about what she does. Follow her directions though, she's very strict with that

The class is interesting and she's super passionate which make it better. She always has a personal story to share. All her tests are multiple choice. That being said, some of them are designed to trick you. Not an easy A class but also fairly easy to do okay in. I just wasn't a fan of the admitted trick questions.

She's VERY passionate about the environment, and everything we went over in class was from a more hippie approach. We even got to meditate in class which was pretty awesome. She doesn't have a doctorate in Biology so its pretty much just high school stuff we learned.

DO NOT take bio122 with this professor! Her teachings are totally unscientific and she purposely tries to trick you on tests by asking questions on small details that are not integral to one's understanding of the material I learned more in high school bio by far. Also talks about her personal life way too much. Totally biased and unprofessional.

Took her for cultural Bio. Her class feels like a high school class. Very clear. Class is spent filling out a huge study guide and going over terms. Tests given about every two weeks. Awesome because you can bomb some of them and still do well. A little annoying at times because they fall on Fridays typically. She's nice enough. Att mand...

Some of the material can be difficult, but I completely "winged" many of the tests and still made a C. Then again, it is a freshman course and I took it as a Junior...

Her class is so boring. She has a strict attendance policy. Her tests are completely unfair compared to her notes. She is clear but it dosent help when it comes to the tests. She cries alot in class too. She is very passionate about her subject.

OK, so she's a bit neurotic and a tree hugger, big deal. She's PASSIONATE. I would hate to have a comparatively bland biology class with some other professor. You'll learn so much, stuff will start spilling out of your ears. The tests aren't bad either. Just study. The class should be called practical biology, I'm using what I know everyday.

Studying is mandatory. Study everything! Even the things she says because she uses that on tests too. Offers extra credit from the beginning. You only fail if you don't try.

This class is ridicously difficult, esp. for a common curriculum class. She gives a 25 question multiple choice test every week. Her tests are full of trick questions. When the entire class does badly on a test, her automatic response is "It's not my fault." Terrible professor.

THIS IS NOT AN EASY CLASS. Many people take Prof. Anzelmo's class because they hear how simple it is. THIS IS NOT AN EASY CLASS. You have to dedicate at least three hours of study for each test (Their is usually a test each week.) THIS IS NOT AN EASY CLASS. If you are interested in learning about Bio, TAKE THIS CLASS. If NOT, STAY AWAY.

A common curriculum, non-major class should NOT be this hard. She doesn't say what will be on the test, she just picks stuff up from the notes & book and makes questions out of that. The level of detail she goes into is greater than the textbook. She is incredibly biased; I don't need an entire class to be lectured on the evils of plastic bottles

She gives a 25 multiple choice test every week. For a non-major class, this class is ridiculously difficult. I believe she goes into her textbook & notes, finds the most obscure details, and makes test questions from them. I studied A LOT before each test, and I got C's and D's! The level of detail is at the major level.

She gives a 25 question test very week. SO you have to be on top of it. If not....you're done. Also, she is extremely biased and annoying. She will push her enviormentalism on you at every turn and opportunity. She will also make claims that she is "2/7ths country" sorry, you're either country or not. Tests are very detailed, you have to study!
