He is an amazing person and professor. Expect to laugh a lot during the lecture. He always made class entertaining and fun. If you pay attention to the lecture and read the text book then you will have an easy time passing the class.

Professor Chang is a great guy and he's pretty funny too. Just make sure to actually show up to class cause he takes points off if you don't. If you think politics is boring don't take his class because he doesn't stop talking into the minute your supposed to leave. Tests aren't too difficult if you skim over the book before.

Its a pretty boring class if youre not into politics. If you enjoy history or keep up with global current affairs that should help you. Prepare for moments of brief silence during his lectures. Vague when hes answering students questions by repeating the last sentence he just stated. Takes attendance, when he remembers. Bring coffee, lots of it.

I love this dude! I found him to be hilarious, and his class is straightforward. Take notes, pay attention in class, and you'll be just fine! Although I do recommend reading the textbook and taking heavy notes. Besides that, I like how he makes the topic interesting and is open to respectable debate. Never disrespectful towards students' opinions.

Grade mostly based on exams, but they focus on what is discussed in class, so take good notes. He likes participation and respects student opinions. He makes the class interesting and simplifies it to key points. Definitely wish I could take more of his classes and highly recommend.

Conduct of U.S. Foreign Policy felt more like a history class, and I love history! He does lecture until time is up, but his lectures really get you thinking and you will end up with a different perspective on certain topics. He make some funny jokes too. I would recommend him.

This seminar focused on post-Cold War US foreign policy. It was amazing to learn that there were American military interventions in 5 nations even though they had no strategic or economic importance for the US. The interventions were just for humanitarian reasons. I only had to write 2 essays and present them orally at the end of the semester!!!

He's one of the best political science professors at Kean only 3 test and no homework. I recommend buying the assigned book because it helps with studying since there is no review for the test. He lectures for the whole class but gives a break. If you miss a test without a doctors note he will not let you make it up.

Took his PS1010 class to fulfill a requirement. Definitely a good choice. There was a book for the class and he suggested using it, but to be honest, I don't think he cared too much about if you bought it or not. Most of what you'll learn is from lecture. Biggest no no is missing test days, otherwise Dr. Chang's a really cool professor.

I took him and would do it again, he's funny & engages the class. He doesn't give homework and only has 3 tests. The tests are a combination of what he says in class and the book so make sure to buy it and at least skim it before a test. I had him for a 3 hr lecture so they did become long but overall good. Oh he doesn't answer his emails

Professor Chang is great, he knows the material he teaches and wants his students to succeed. I had him for 3 classes during my undergrad, many of the negative remarks on here are not true. He is available to and respects his students. He helped me during my grad school application in many ways. I would take him again, and recommend him.

I had him for Conduct of U.S. Foreign Policy and learned so much about how our foreign policy is formulated and implemented. It also felt like a History class since we studied how American foreign policy has developed since World War II (with some discussion about our foreign policy before WWII as well). There were 3 exams, no papers. Great Prof!!

He can get detailed on unimportant things. His tests are hard only because half of the test is true or false and the rest is multiple choice. I lowkey fall asleep because its an 8am and he talks forever. He can be funny at times but not often. He starts exactly at 8am and ends exactly 9:15am. He cares for his students. Id consider taking him again.

I had 3 hour lecture with this professor and it wasn't unbearable! Gives 20 minute breaks and tries to engage students in discussion. Cracks a little jokes here and there. The exams were not too hard and not too easy, but he would give my class curves. It's important to take notes during class and you should be fine. Oh and NO HOMEWORK.

Greatest professor I had while in Kean University. Jokes around and expands on ideas presented by students. Ex: suggest sending him to Hawaii for an A, and ties it in with lessons(s). Take notes, pay attention, look in book for some key terms and you'll be fine. I wish ithere were more professors like Dr. Chan in Rutgers NB

Having him now for International Terrorism. Sounded interesting, but he doesn't make it that way at all. It's all about yourself in class. Doesn't answer e-mails. Somewhat confusing on the conducting of the class. Great for opinions and class discussion, but barely notes. I don't recommend.
